If you know Clapton then you know that for the last 25 years he has been displaying his roots and playing this kind of music. Pilgrim album, JJ Cale sessions, Me & Mr. Johnson, Unplugged, it's always been there. i am tickled that he put out this album, it's a dream, his voice just keeps getting better and better. "Judgement Day is almost here...." I hope not Mr. Clapton, I would love to see you now that you sing like this, way better than 20 years ago when I saw you at Key Arena in Seattle.

this reminds me of when someone says some actor could read the phone book and be interesting. EC can take ANY song and turn it inside out.. and make it sing like a symphony! nice!
