dear bros & sister of this demostration, please pack you bag and go back to myanmar where the burmese army can serve you better or give you the respect you need .GO GO GO, all those faces that's shown on this video should be deported immediate as they have great disrespect for singapore law. Think this is your grandfather country?
Well, regardless its opposition or burmest , any illegal gathering or intimate the police, its a disgrace to singapore . gather them all and throw them to jail and feed them curry rice! Anyway , for the burmese , well , let their own government continue to harass them back home
These idiot burmese think its funny, well wait till they are send back to their home and let their govt torture them. well they deserve it , so cocky in theirr host country, no respect for the law, please singapore police, do your job, send all these asshole back home!
Golden...ever wondered what would happened if its singaporeans doing this...i do believe a group of 5 or more is an offence..yet nothing was done to the burmese..if its the opposition party itself, the cops would be hard on them...this is something i wonder...
The one who is video taping for this video was afraid that he/he would have been videotaped in the indian's video camera. that's why he/she stayed away from that indian guy's camera as far as he/she could.
maybe the police are just gathering intel on whats going on..
anyway, whats so wrong about video taping..its not like the police are arresting them..and they dont even have a right to protest..its not their country! and i agree with enikisser..they are being disrespectful to the laws of our country
Anyway... if those foreigners knew that the guys are Singapore officers, then those foreigners seems quite rude or disrespectful towards our authority by reacting that way.
I spent one week at s'pore and didn't see any policemen. A taxi driver told me that they are "all around" as civilian and with many cameras working on the streets. But I really like s'pore !!
what the heck arethese Sgp police doing? Are they about sending the pictures of the protesters to the Burmese military generals? Sgp should take a leading role in comdemning the junta.
haha... very strange i read these... wats wrong with them taping the demostrators? they got money buy camera, got time to tape them, why not? its against the law to have such demostration, peaceful or not. dun like singapore law? fuck off lor! hahahaha...
They don't have uniforms. Are they officials who are trying get "points" by having the free thinking citizens documented? I know the laws in Singapore are very strict, but really!!
Singapore's Secret Police in action. Remember the days of Stalin? Remember Hitler? The same type of despots rule Singapore using fear to impinge on rights and to trample on those who seek to excercise those rights.
In the words of a learned President, " There's nothing to fear but fear itself."
Dear all my bros and sisters in this desmonstration, i would like to encourage you to go forword and do not be terrified or embarrassed because of this video taping from Singapore Police or whoever they are. According to the human rights we can demonstrate peacefully without disturbing anyone. They can't even sue or jail you because of this activity.

I suspect.. Perhaps, they will document those faces and find out the identities so that those people will never get their visa renewed ... ;)
But hey... those people took pictures of the 'officers' too and never stopped. So?
enikisser 4 years ago
that is exactly what is happening, and it's hardly the kind of behaviour to merit a ;). Singapore - a police state dressed up as a free state.
