It might not be that optimistic, i've seen a Tich loco haul alot before, no probs, but it did have some lead it tanks, that might have made a differance!
The Great Cockcrow Railway. I've seen your 0-6-0 Tich. I think its an absolutely cracking little thing! Whoever built it was onto a good idea! I should imagine it has better adhesion than the standard 4 coupled version.
Oh yes, that's near Chertsey isn't it, and you would be suprised, it does not have the better adhesion than the four coupled version, it is a bit more powerfull I think!
The loco has trouble pulling away, even light engine, but I think I rember the owner saying that it was somthing to do with the drain cocks, once shes on the move she goes like a rocket!
What gaue is it an im interestid in buying that off you if your seling it

ah yes that would help. But most railways have gradients, I know for a fact that a Tich would struggle with 4 on the railway I drive at.
matthewpeter in reply to Firrboxfryup (Show the comment) 3 years ago
What railway is that then?
We have a titch at the Cranmore miniature railway, it's blue and it's an 0.6.0T rather than an 0.4.0!
