It doesn't work that way. Most of their wealth is held in assets, such as stocks and property. If they wanted to liquidate all of their assets (turn them into money), they would have to find buyers. Liquidating 1.5 trillion dollars of assets would hurt more people than it would help, if they could even manage to do it. Those people live on $1 a day because they're poor. If they had money, it would cost more for them to live, because the market dictates price, and more money increases demand
