Crysis looks like a sweet game. To bad its a computer hog. And they said the ps3 has truly next gen graphics when they can't produce nothing that looks this good. Guess they WILL say anything to get you to buy it. Next Gen my ass. Cell Prossesor! Blu Ray! 2 words....BULL SHIT!

Not such a hog as you would think. It is fully playable on max with 2006 years 8800GTX at 1280x720 or higher with 2006 years E6600.

PS3 has surfed on the usual overblown hype from Sony and fanboys. Cell, Blu Ray, all the lies, skewed "benches", taken out of context stuff.

Considering it barely is better than 360 if even that. And that the best on consoles cant even come anywhere close to Crysis medium-high looks.

Asus HD4870 512MB, E8400, 4GB RAM, Vista x64. Beyond very high settings, edge AA set to 2, 16xAF, 1280x1024 (FRAPS recording at 1280x720).

That is not my work. I downloaded from Crymod site a pack with weapon skins. The modder also has a thread with lots of exclusive weapon skins. ;)

in my comment, just comment, the shadow can be a little darker(donno if u can do that, but its good enought) and less motion blur(donno if u can do that) and uhhhh little more bloom well its really good amazing u can do that

Why is everything so slow? How he moves his weapon when he runs, reloads and aims, I remember it being a lot faster. It looks strange in your videos.

I used the command fixed_time_step to create a "matrix" like flow. This to show off the small things you most likely miss in normal gamespeed.

IIRC it was fixed_time_step 0.02 or 0.016. you might need to also reduce the motionblur strength (in menu for example).

Okay ive seen your rig. And yeah its good , but what mods are you using to make your graphics that nice.

I got a amd 4200+ dual core , 8800GT , 2 gig of ram on 32bit vista , and i dont get graphics half that good at a stable fps , its depressing :(.

Your CPU is a bit weak unless you cut down on 'object' detail setting.

I use my custom config, custom TOD for singleplayer maps and custom particle mod. Particle mod link is in the info tab.

Yes it was a weapon retexture pack I found at crymod. It comes with several camo types and colors to chose from.

The game allows you to change the gameplay speed. This to in slowmotion see how nice a fight in Crysis is. In fullspeed small details might have not been noticed, like animations, smal leffects etc.

I might add at the same framerate with FRAPS recording. Without FRAPS recording there is a significant perfomance boost.

Yep, it's to showcase effects, animations. The best way is to use timescale built into the game. It stil runs at the same framerate though.
