I so enjoy the guitar put through that delay device, with the swelling notes like distant airplane engines echoing in high mountain valleys - lovely effect, well used by Steve
Loved Steve Tibbetts since I discovered him in the early 80s ...got "safe journey" in a second hand record shop...had to get my hands on everything I could find by him including Marc Anderson's solo stuff. Just discovered this on youtube ...thanks !

I've been wanting to see this guy since Yr came out on vinyl. Dang it. No luck yet. Steve, Pete Cosey and Helios Creed are the unsung heroes of the guitar. Marc plays anything.
MAn oh MAN.. Thanks for posting this!! Tibbetts and Anderson are in a class all by themselves.. I can hardly believe that Tibbetts gets this sound live.. it's got SO much sustain, and he has such an amazing legato touch..seems you hardly hear him hit the string. His use of electronics is subtle, yet so creative.I just wish he did more gigs, I did have the pleasure of seeing he & Anderson in a small club in Chicago about 15-17 years ago.. just inCREDible!!
yep- compassion makes it all better )))
