There is some unexpected Jam at the MTX jazz. For example Prince came to the Jazz cafe after his show.

by the way, so someone know who won the Solo Piano Competition?

man I came to the city, ask for jams and I hear: yeah there is a jam in the Cafe, but what I saw was just queue of groups playing their stuff. It was named 'jazz session' in the pamphlet. I was informed there are jams around midnight, but when I was in Montreux, there were none :( The organisation was terrible through. BTW this music on the video looks like an organised group with some different vocalists, its not a real jam man :P

dude since "real jams" as you call them arise from a instant last minute decision, how would you like them to be planned.. plus the jams happened around 3 in the morning rather than midnight.. I've been attending almost every night of the jazz festival for the last ten years and i think i know the difference between musicians playing a set and a real jam session. Plus, if you think the organisation was terrible, your opinion might not be shared by all..
