I m so glad I watched ur video!!! I already do the flower from Tim Holt, but with. my own lil tweak. Your video introduced me to burlap and helped me understand the use stiffener. Can't wait to get started!!! Hoping to share some I make with you soon. TFS!!!!
You nake it look easy, watching your video on this Burlap Flowers. I will have to try it. If not successdul, then I will just have to purchase yours. LOL. I love the Dress form you made with the matching purse, sooo cute! Do you have a tutorial on the crochet flowers? OH, ad the hanger? I am trying to make a few, but they don't look right for some reason. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. God Bless.
I suck at flowers .. but you made it look really doable. My prob has always been too too too much bottom. I think I could cut the papoer flower centers like you do and have some cuties. TFS
The Sizzix, just like the Cricut, is a cutting machine but uses dies instead of cartridges. I have both machines but I use the Sizzix mostly to cut fabric and chipboard. The Cricut will NOT cut burlap like the Sizzix does. There are a few Sizzix models available... go to Sizzix.com or search YouTube for tutorials so you can better make a decision if the Sizzix is something you'll want to invest in. Just like the cartridges for the Cricut the Sizzix dies can get costly too.
Your burlap flowers are so pretty Lorinda! Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial! I can't wait to try it! Your burlap dress and purse are GORGEOUS!! I'm sure Marion will LOVE both them and your beautiful flowers! You are very generous!...Nancy :o)
Promises promises....tsk tsk tsk. LOL! Lorinda, these are gorgeous and I think I would rather buy them from you! I can just imagine my fingers all blistered up! hahaha! Thanks for doing the tut! =)
OMG! Love your flowers and the tips you share on their construction. I bet that trimming of the under petal would work on the paper roses as well. That has always bothered me. Thank you so much for sharing. That dress is so adorable too.
oh wow!!!!! I love this...I think I may try the flowers...I LOVE flowers! Great job girl! I would love to see how you made the dress with all the embellies!..please!!! did you crochet the little flowers on the dress? I gotta try that too! Have a great sunday! xoxo Jules:)
Hi Jules... I will add the burlap dress to my vid-to-do-list...
I crochet flowers but the ones I used on the dress I bought from Sonya at catcrazycreations when she was doing a fundraiser for MsClaudia... not sure if she has a tutorial on it. thanks for watching Jules!
Someone requested that I do a vid on the burlap dress... I will include the how-to of the hanger in the same vid... stay tuned! and, thanks for watching!
