oh and when you're on the C down strum with the open D string twice and hammer onto the second fret the second time accordingly to the rhythm of the intro riff

uh i guess you can use any sort of strum that fits or you can just do down strums on the changes of the notes of the actual intro aside from the Am. the Am should be a down strum then a pulloff and then another downstrum before you go to the G.
