i just built my own system with this mobo, i cant even boot up, it starts up but i get no picture on my screen. Pain in the arse, been trying for days to get this bitch to work
What do you think about the Asus P6T7 WS? In the UK they don't sell the classified just yet so I'm looking at an alternative... do you think its good or should i wait?
The 920 d0 stepping and and i shouldnt have ran without water the block was scolding hot after i finished testing i had to let it cool down before removing. I only had the system up for a few minutes so it shouldnt do any harm, but dont try this at home?
i have the same mobo and got 1866 dom. gt's and it's unstable at 1866 or higher do u got the same problem? i'm just running them at 1600 with cas 5 latencies
Download this memory test tool from microsoft if you havent already, Burn the iso image and boot from the cd, its supposed to be an excellent memory test tool.
lol I dont think he bought an inferior board to check bottle necking!
The purpose of this board is to compare statistical values, What R3aper is doing is testing hardware that is cutting edge and to give him a comparison so he knows what the advantage is to a much superior EVGA classified board.
He's by far not a noob! he's someone we all should benefit from for the work he does.
Your right only in the context of he's not sure whats wrong, I can tell you from expierience that when you try to combine cutting edge harware, Every company wants to blame it on the other, This is what happens every time! This one wants to blame it on that one! The one fact remains, you can buy a Dell! And ret asured! Nothing will work right! Or you can build a system and hope all the components work together, 9 times outa 10 your better off buiolding your own.
Yea i did say that but in my previous vids i show how the classifed wouldnt boot with more than 2 sticks of ram in it, but as it could have also been the memory controller on the cpu, so i had to buy a new chip to test or a motherboard, without the test there is no real way to tell. I could have blamed the chip for instance rmad got a replacement only to find out i still have the problem i had before, and iot was actually the mobo, so this was a sure way of proving which component was at fault
That sucks, didn't know you were having problems. Hope you get it all figured out. Are you going to keep the P6T as a test board. Funny that the P6T does TRI SLI and the P6T Deluxe only supports dual SLI.
Yea thats what i thought about the deluxe not being tri sli but the standard on is very odd.
Oh can you do a vid on removing pcie 6pin or 8 pins connectors of the cables using house hold stuff i really want to do my cpu 8 pin and graphic cards cables and infact the 24pin but not to sure how to tackle it.
whahah wtf man why do you boot without your liquid cooling your graphic card will be dead soon xd

You probably answered this, but I couldn't find it:
1. What CPU?
2. How did you run that GPU without water?

Looks like a pretty nice board :)
Agree about motherboard packages, would be great if they sold OEM motherboards and cut out all the crap :)
Hope everything gets sorted ok :) 5/5
