If the Tesla and Jane's album came out just over two months apart, there is now way Tesla ripped them off. If you know the music industry (which most fans don't) it takes months of pre-production, then recording, then mixing, then pressing the record, CD, (i.e. making the product) etc. And who would really rip off a bass line? As if it makes the track a hit in this case?

Jeff Kieth (singer) had a really really hot voice (my favorite voice of all time!) in the first album- even the second. but he made the mistake that many Americans make: he SMOKED! you see it in the video Gettin Better (one of my favorite songs)!

Unfortunately I have to say that he doesn't sound like he used to... and there may never be another Jeff Kieth voice like that.
