An interesting fact is that the last line of text is added by the composer... something people just didn't do with sacred catholic texts back then. I think it makes it very personal and touching! Beautiful tone, but it lost its key in the first phrase...I guess the original key has been so problematic that I've heard A LOT of groups change it.
