  • Are you Okay bro?

  • Tornadoes aren't real, they're just an urban legend. All the damage you see on TV that they've supposedly caused is actually from secret US spy satellites that came crashing down to Earth.

  • are they still selling this stuff?

  • a tornado in oregon no way? when was this i live in milton-freewater

  • I Hope Santa has NOAA Weather Alert !! lmao

  • I Hope That Is a Basement You are ALREADY in ?? lol

  • Wow that would suck

  • OH MY GOD YOU SAID OLY S****!

  • i dont remember this alert when i was with my dad

  • Don't say f**kin bad words

  • Does anyone else find the monotone voice and synthetic alarm kinda scary?

It's not like the sounds themselves are the bad part-It's the conditions that normally follow afterwards what makes me piss everywhere.

  • Does anyone know the odds of a tornado in oregon every year???

  • OK WHO WOKE UP CHUCK NORRIS??

  • Why do you have an encoder/decoder? is this in an TV/ Radio station or at an county EMA?

  • if you noticed he never once touched his sage endec so he couldnt have faked it and it didnt set itself off

  • You live in Portland right? When I've gone through Portland, KIG98 is channel 7, what is channel 2?

  • @EASpokaneChiefs . that's true. KIG98 should be CH.7 not two. I live in Franklin co. Ohio and we use 162.550 just like KIG98 ant it's on ch. 7. and the other NWR frq. that covers his county is ch.4 not ch.2. Very interesting.

  • @defient7 Actually I just realized that on the Oregon coast, they relay the stations on different channels. so It's the same broadcast on different channels... at my Beach House in Oceanside, Oregon, I get the same broadcast from channels 2,4,6,7 , but they are relayed from different areas on a different frequency.

  • Am I the only person who gets depressed when other people get tornado warnings? The reason is I love them and wish I could go through several a year, damn even watching this depressed me some...

  • I notice you flinched at :44.

  • I like how you shake the camera when it says you're area. I would go crazy.

  • Scary I know The Feeling !

  • " Holy Shit " YOU sound Like ME when MY Weather Alert Goes Off LOL

  • Odd... How would you be receiving Lake St. Claire and Detroit River forecasts... If you live in Oregon? Could you have possibly FAKED it from your little encoder toy? Back to real life, little boy.

  • @TheCAPVlogger: Why is that, exactly? What would be so scary if it was just a test?

  • @TheCAPVlogger: Well, this actually isn't all that unheard in the Northwest; one twisted even touched near Seattle, yes, Seattle, of all places, in December of 1969.

  • @TheCAPVlogger I'm from Real England, We never get EAS :)

  • its a graet vidioe

  • @joinbuddy334 ... Bro, learn to spell.

  • it has been a while since i heard a tornado warning

  • @TheCAPVlogger Same here in Illinois, but it does happen here

  • @TheCAPVlogger They happen a lot to be honest.

  • 3588 VIEWER!

  • you have all of that eas stuff and yet no scanner?

  • @Blb9556 I have a trunking scanner...

  • Wait, if it was a tornado warning, what made you first think it was a severe thunderstorm warning?

  • @lightningbolt99999 I saw it on the nws page but it hadn't been broadcasted yet.

  • I don't think your EAS system even activated it. I think the NWS activated their's.

  • I thought the NOAA weather radio never had those TV EAS ACTIVATION tones. I thought the EAS tones for the radio were a bit more crackled... And... You shouldn't expect a STW on your radio at noon when there's no EAS on your WX screen.

  • @Shartl9 The NWS always issues it first before it goes over WX radio. Most people have it come up on the TWC before the EAS is activated.

  • i see that you got a SAGE ENDEC raido, where did you get yours?

  • When you said that you were expecting a severe thunderstorm warning, and it came up tornado warning, were all of those "oh shit"s real? lol

  • Where can I get one of those radios?

  • @Drumme11 cabelas radioshack and online

  • I like how you went WTF when the EAS came up. I do that too

  • you may never see this kind of thing again at the beginning of winter.

  • @TheCAPVlogger A Tornado for Eastern Washington is uncommon even in the summer. Washington averages 4 a year (A Tornado dropped down 12 miles of me on 5/19/2010, with no warning)

  • Dude, this is amazing! My reaction would've been the same. I would've never expected a tornado in December! Great video!

  • DAMN, NATURE! YOU SCARY!

  • Wow. Wait i thought that it was a severe thunderstorm warning.

  • Hey, TORNADO WARNING isn't in the DEFEAT SIREN list. What scares me is that I think it won't go off for a TORNADO WARNING. Is TORNADO WARNING in your DEFEAT SIREN list?

  • @ELTIGREROCKS10NEW The Weather radios are designed to not have certain alerts on the defeat siren list as NOAA and the government does not want the tornado warning alert and other life threatening alerts disabled. Provided that you have your radio setup to receive alerts for your area you should get the tornado warning alert.

  • @ELTIGREROCKS10NEW no it will always go off.

  • @dereksmith1011222 Yea I knew this. I didn't read the manual for WR-300 & found that out. It just isn't on the DEFEAT SIREN LIST 'cause it's permanently on.

  • @ELTIGREROCKS10NEW In most radios, it is not in the defeat list, since tornados can happen anywhere, and they are dangerous. They do not put it on that list so you can't turn that alert off...

  • Nice. It's a rare occurrence in Oregon i bet. We get lots of warnings like this in the spring and summer.

  • Dude, I heard about that. I was at school but I got home and heard that a Tornado touched down near Salem... Scary.

  • @FLaMeFuLEniGMa That was in Aumsville. I made an EAS about it, too!

  • @mitterdoo I live in Spokane Washington, I heard on the news that it touched down NEAR Salem.

  • You'd think a tornado wouldn't occur at this time of the day!

By the way, i'm getting a WR-300 Weather radio to replace my 100. How well does it work?

  • Holy shit! That's scary! It's almost unheard of to have a tornado or even a severe t-storm this time of year

  • @Minitrucker231 Yeah. Its VERY uncommon to even have a t-storm in Oregon during the summer...

  • @dereksmith1011222 We get some Thunderstorms in Eastern Washington during the summer, but it is pretty uncommon to get Severe Thunderstorms during summer. I have recorded an EAS from Spokane for the northern portion of my county from NOAA Weather Radio on the internet. (I did not have my WR-100 at the time)

  • hope you were ok.

  • When was this

  • @GNews10 Tuesday

  • @dereksmith1011222 Hey, I talked to you on my old account (FLaMeFuLEniGMa) and you told me you have a beach house in Oceanside, OR. I do too, and I'm going there today, and I was wondering how many NOAA Weather Radio stations can you get from Oceanside?

  • @EASpokaneChiefs haha i'm in Oceanside right now. You can get 3 from astoria (repeated) and one or two from newport.

  • @dereksmith1011222 I have 4 stations, 3 are repeated, Didn't you say you live on Tillamook and Aster? or something like that

  • @EASpokaneChiefs yep thats it.

  • @dereksmith1011222 Green house?

  • @EASpokaneChiefs nope. PM me.

  • @TheCAPVlogger so true
