I have never heard in all of my years a beat that evokes such a feeling of confidence, smooth strength and quiet integrity... it starts off sounding like Sam Spence's "The Classic Battle", then it starts going into those incredibly funky jazz drums and that unbelievably sick set of string/saxophone samples.... it is so overloaded with funk and soul that I can't even begin to explain. I would LOVE to hear Rakim, Canibus and Kool Keith going for theirs over this instrumental, IMHO. ^_^
