I was always a blink 182 fan and listened to every album, but I never knew this song existed. A few weeks ago my friend Erika killed herself unexpectingly and I was torn up. I had no idea she had been feeling those thoughts. I was an emotional wreck and just lost and confused, but the day after it happened this song came on and I heard it for the first time. It really made me think from her perspective, then when I heard the end of the song I gained some hope and realized I'll see her again

Just found out last night a good friend of mine from high school took his own life. Things like that make me realize how much it really does hurt, even when you think no one cares, and that even when someone always seem happy, you never know what is going on inside their heads.

This song just makes me re-evaluate my life so much. It just makes me think about everything about my young life and how everything seems so small untill years later it just hits you like a fucking bus. Like this song just speaks to me so much cause some of the funniest people, are some of the most troubled and you never know what a person has been thru or what someone is thinking of. @totallycoolboy this is the travis i grew up idolizing, man! his short, flared out dreadlocks, quite a few less tattoos than he's got nowadays, and that damn lip piercing that always looked so cool to me when i was 14. definitely travis. and definitely the blink i spent my youth amazed by :) being 24 now, they don't have quite the same effect on me they had then, but the memory suffices plenty. this band and their music got me through many tough, depressed times in my life.

I think the most powerful line in the song is "tomorrow held such better days" as opposed to 16 because 16 has you dwelling on the past, but for suicidal people especially teens, the tomorrow shows that it's gonna get better, it's not over, it's not worth killing yourself.

i usually listen to this song on the bus on my way to school, but the part "please tell mom this is not her fault" i almost end up on tears, the whole song builds up on thinking to suicide, ending it all, but you've got to stick through the whole thing.
