Okay I know that she does lip, I'm not sure how often but she does. However, I have watched videos on YouTube of her singing LIVE for example on Oprah. She always sings live on Oprah I know that for sure. Secondly, this is a very unfair video to judge her lip synch on because we aren't actually the performance, you only let us hear the vocal. For all we know, you could have just put the studio version on here instead of the live one to confuse us. You really need more proof, like the proper vid.

Who cares? Show me an artist today that hasn't lipped at some point in their career. It's not humanly possible to hit some of the notes she can hit night after night and last for as long as she has. The bottom line is that Celine is so good that people refuse to believe she's as good as she is. So much so, that there's a small cottage industry to try and disprove her abilities with "videos" like these. At the end of the day, she has to record the track before she can lip it. She's still got it.

It may be lipped but it means she has RE-recorded the entire song at this time, so she can sing her ass off. I mean, we can say: It's ok for Celine, common she has given lots lots and lots of live performances through out her career, and it's been a lot of years since she first started singing. I have known of Céline Dion since before she sang in English... She is a true musician and her voice her instrument... any well trained musician rehearses and then is able to "reproduce" the same piece/ song... I know people who have worked with her, some who still do ( her back up singer) and I assure you Céline sings live... she has lip synched (sp?) on some TV shows when it is simply done for sound quality... I've had to lip synch to myself for the National Anthem.

I'm not going to comment on this particular video but just going to say one thing. If you hear something sang or played just the same way as many times as you can count it doesn't mean it is playback. People that are great in what they do can easily sing and play the same thing exactly the same way every time (our ears can't hear the small difference).

Usually the hardest parts end up sounding alike becouse they can only be singed and played one way due to their hardness.

if you just listen to the pronounciation of some vowels, you can hear it's really not the same as the original studio version. On top of that you can hear she stops her sentences a little bit faster than the studio version.

Is it only me who actually just wish they would take this song out. When I saw it was added I automatically knew it would be lipped. Place "Let's Talk About Love" in it's place, besides everyone will figure out this is lipped, no one can sing this song nightly live. It's impossible, and honestly it doesn't bother me at all. She is human, she's been in the business 30 years and sounds pretty damn fine! I will definatley see her having 50 year career like Tina Turner and Cher.

Although i'm a big celine fan, i'm very disappointed that she's been lipping all her big songs such as the reason, power of love, where does my heart beat now, even my heart will go on. She only sings live for small songs such as lullaby. I guess she wants to preserve her voice for the future. If you so called fans don't believe me, compare the performances as stated from different dates, you'll be able to hear that they all sound the same. She's been using pre recorded tracks for her big songs.

In fact, if you listen carefully and using one headphone at a time you will notice some differences between the performances. For example, the note is not continuous when she sang "The Reason" at 1:26 on the left headphone but it is on the right headphone. If you listen to it using both headphone you won't be able to see it's different. I believe she's just that perfect.

@CCitizen91 well its just to show people who perhaps didnt know :) and im willing to bet you a months wages that celine doesnt use autotune! its too harsh. melodyne gives a more realistic and believeable pitch correction. i work with it all the time and every person ive asked which they prefer, they all choose melodyne for pitch correction. but will use autotune for the robot effect.
