What you need depends on the spec.. and different types of a set (like pvp set; tech, medic, supercommando, eliminator), seing as they all have different 2 and 4 piece set bonuses, which means that one set might be better for merc than powertech cus of the set bonus and the stats

@tenekes94 Mercenary if you're a healer, powertech if you wanna tank. Dps is either, but merc is really based around tracer missile spam,seeing as it stacks up to inc dmg with other abilities etc, merc is more a well round class to dps with, not a spammer one.

Yep but powertech isnt op, I play a jedi guardian im slightly more geared than you. any powertech with half a brain can kill me even if i get the jump on them. in before all the you must be bad that oh jedi guards always pwn me powertechs can get me at half health in as short as 4 seconds.

I would love to be a lightsaber wielder, but I think there has to be a certain satisfaction taking down these rave partying noobs. Just too many sabers.

This build seems to give a great mix of range/close range combat which is awesome. Mercenary just seems like a turret and way to simple of a class that is just asking for changes.

How can I get to 400 biochem? Did you mostly farm the mats manually, then craft the same materials to get to more advanced recipes? Or did you mostly do missions? I feel like the missions are way to expensive and yield very little materials/compounds

Not a big fan of Infrared sensors, I'd suggest moving those two points over to Degauss for mobility in PVP. You can't use Degauss when stunned but at the same time snares aren't considered CCs by the resolve bar so its great for breaking snares when carrying the huttball.

@Montijin thats the only thing I would change too. i went hybrid to try out retractable blade, but since using it a bit it's not that great, and the heat management is difficult as it's another 16heat ability in the rotation. going to switch to thermal detonator later today.
