Just change the difficulty to real easy (you can do it at any point of the game) and you can easily pass the last levels that way.

I suggest switching difficulty on Catherine to easy and finishing off the game as story is really well worth it. There are some of the best endings I ever seen in video games :)

Some of my favourite VG videos on youtube are the game pickup vids and I enjoy seeing the variety of games you buy and the blurbs that you have to say about each. I got the somewhat special edition (not the Love is Over with the t shirt) of Catherine PS3 from Amazon, and it looks great so far but I haven't had time to play much more than about 3 levels.

There is a cheat code for Catherine that lets you play in Very Easy mode, which gives you items to let you climb multiple blocks at once. Just hold back on the title screen.

Catherine is my current game of the year. In order to be able to complete it and enjoy it, I made a choice to play the game on easy before I started. I know myself, I suck at puzzle games. I didn't want to be at a point (like you) where I was getting frustrated level after level. Don't get me wrong, I still found it extremely challenging, but in a good way. I loved the stages as much as I loved the story.

@tendresseak27 Aye, smart move going to easy. I typically play games on the default setting but this one is a rare exception. I had to swallow my pride and put it on the easy setting. Easy feels like normal, normal feels like hard, and hard seems like hell. Easy still presents enough challenge to not be a walk in the park but without being overly frustrating

u must giv catherine another try.... i beat it the day i got it... ur rite about the puzzles being harder at the end, making people a little frustrated becuz they want to see how the story goes.... but to me the stress of wanting to c the nex part of the story makes me more eager to solve the puzzles... its hard but who wants an easy game... whats wrong with a little challenge??? its all worth it at the end.... atleest to me...

Atlus didn't want to put the battles in 3d because they said that the 3d wouldn't add much since it's a sprite based rpg, and they wanted to focus on making the demons and characters sharper and whatnot. But I do agree that it would have been pretty cool in 3d. Finish it if you can, it really is a great game ( I played the original).

Hey Pete, i know that you are not a real puzzle guy for catherine, but i will tell you that this is a really hard game from normal and up. If you played it on easy then i have no clue, but maybe you should lower the difficulty( if you have a save point to do so). Eventually the puzzles actually stop getting harder on normal difficulties adn instead just go faster. Just some encouragment if you ever get around to it(p.s. don't play rapunzel minigame, those are the real hard ones even on easy)

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor was really amazing on the ds! I hope you see past the whole 3d thing and get around to playing. I've heard they fixed the difficulty spikes and the story is really amazing, so you should really give it a go.
