I love their uniform , its classy and respectful of the origin of the airline, They are a amazing airline, that bring back the class of flying. I always hear traveller where is the class why everyone wear a pyjama or sweat pant to travel.

These so called "new" uniforms are so staid and dull. I can understand the designer wanting to keep the middle eastern influence but this is just absolutely boring. For new cabin crew uniforms check-out the following airlines as their uniforms are not only elegant and very wearable but also very distinct and make a statement: Delta Airlines, Air France, TAP Portugal, Korean Air, Japan Airlines amongst others.

It would be better if the uniforms for ladies are red. In this color they look dull. I like hat but lose the veil it looks like hijab. Or is that on purpose?!

everything is perfect except the hat, minus the scarf please. when i was in emirates flight, i looked at those cabin crews they looked bored and those uniform make them look even more dull.

I really like the new outfit for the CAs. The old one was quite tacky and with weird colour combination...although I still think the colours should be a bit different. Men uniform are great now! Loved the ties... Im JAL cabin crew for Sao Paulo base...

Someone told me that the flight attendants only wear the genie outfits when they work First and Business. FAs working in Economy/Coach/Steerage class don't wear them. Also on long flights, the cabin crew tend to disappear and it's like pulling teeth to get one of them to answer your call button. I hope that's not true about Emirates.

i think the uniforms are ugly!! ugly color with a stupid hat. I don't know what the company is trying to do but when i look at one of those cabin crew i really feel like i'm talking to a format human being who sold her soul to the devil like "pret a manger restaurants" in London. I rather be serve by a genuine person who can think by her self and have personal feeling of her own than some kind of bimbo that think that i think that she's super cool because that's certainly not true.

I don't have anything against the cabin crew but against the management who's trying to format nice and beautiful people into some kind of robot like all the big airlines.What i mean is that i prefer to have someone genuine with me than someone smiling at me like a bimbo, because she's been told too.

Maybe it's just me, but i hate this kind of American management were everything seams fake!!i just hate it.

If you are speaking about the Read hat, they wear it because is very popular for Cabin Crew to wear hats.Now that hat also holds the white silk looking thing coming down the hat, is very traditional also because the airline is Arabic..Other Airlines like Etihad and Gulf Air use it also.Hope I helped

Well,the salary is not that bad but you should try to apply  when you reach 18y.

I was a crew member for 3 years in Dubai with Emirtaes,it is hard work really.

The basic salary was over 1000 US plus flying hours;you can make easily 2500 US and is free of tax in Dubai.

It is hard work...specially if you fly to India and Pakistan...very demanding passengers.

Good luck and I really hope you get something better(profession) in the future or even becoming a pilot!! a dream job!!!
