  • Get active - go to 'boycottworkfare' - organise a protest on 6th march in your area - just stand outside m adn s or poundland for an hour with a homemade banner - or even 5 minutes -

  • What a wonderful human being this person is!

    Thank you. x

  • I agree with Workfare, except I would enforce it with a big stick :)

  • Poundland unpaid staff are known as "Free-Bes"

  • this woman here talking should get a medal

  • great vid, now that A4e have been named and shamed all the other "training providers" need outing, im not sure of how many there are or if they are divisions of A4e, the one dealing in workfare in my area via the jobcnetre is Best training.

  • This is such a good video, you are so smart and pretty :D, everything you say is totally correct and you predicted all the problems to a tee. Its talent like you that should be put into positions of power, not these scum tories who were born into it.

  • A4e are scum

  • I found it interesting the reference to the underground staff. I read in a local newspaper a few days ago something that puzzled and intrigued me:"Camilla's booked to help teach Tube (i.e. Subway/Underground) staff how to read" was the headline. So you can be illiterate and still work for London Underground. At the bottom level of course.

  • Everything this lady is saying is True. I should know because i got Placed on one. They work you flat out for weeks. And the Company she named is Involved in this Piss take.

  • Attention to this,

Article 4 of the European Convention on Human Rights prohibits slavery and forced labour. Conscription, national service, prison labour, service exacted in cases of emergency or calamity, and "normal civic obligations" are excepted from these definitions.

    1. No one shall be held in slavery or servitude. 2. No one shall be required to perform forced or compulsory labour. 3. For the purpose of this article the term "forced or compulsory labour" shall not include:

  • WORKPROGRAMME its a joke i am currently on it no different to new deal.

  • If you need or want to avoid the work programme, just sign off the day before the first intro meeting and then use the freephone number to sign on again and just keep doing it. Do NOT give a reason why you are signing off.

OK you lose a tenner or so but just teach them a lesson. Then they cant say you have missed any meeting and it costs them more in admin. FUCK THEM

  • @Kazinthegarden I`m pretty sure there is an army of people out there who have been doing that routine for some years now, You can use your two periods of sickness a year to skip a few, After that, Claiming not having the travel money to is another popular one, They hate having to post train tickets etc,, , Your position to play them that way is a good stumper, I`m sure if enough people do it, It will break the bastards !

  • btw. we already have types of unpaid forced employment here. Social weak/poor people are often forced to work for nothing to keep theyre social money. Its an outrage, i can only tell u do all u can to never let that happen.

  • I thought working below the minimum wage is illegal.

  • don't worry we know the crack, we know they are corrupt and we will remove them by force if needed. What they are doing is illegal and it will be stopped, if i'm forced to do this i will challenge it, I'm not stacking shelves in asda for my dole money they can employ me if they need the work doing.

This is the last fucking straw and after this its going to get fucking raw and we will burn that shit down to the fucking ground.

  • @ReadyToMealSqueal I am totally with you, i thought a legal challenge to this was already underway by a group of lawyers, anyone know the latest on this?

  • this is taking greed to a whole new level. brining back slavery, this is criminal.

  • Get the government into a court of europeen human rights and have them answer to an independant judge. Within 5 minutes they will lose and will be forced to abolish this program. Oh wait a team of solicitors already are bwhahahahaha

  • @RceaEripsa apparently ive been told it is illegal by the human rights act, will try and find the the legal bump and report back.

  • If she`s telling the real truth behind all these government job schemes. And it`s obvious she is. Then I would suggest simple non compliance at every possible opportunity . And just become such a liability to the workplace. That they would want rid of you

  • I aggree with everything she's said, its totally wrong making someone work for 30hrs or more a week for nothing, an unemployed person gets nothing out of it! where's the incentive? it is illegal demeaning slave labour, 'providers' + private companies raking it in + if only the tax payer realised how much money is being wasted by these schemes, many people out of work genuinely want to work & want a job The uk is seriously shit now, I hate living here! wish I could fuck off and never come back

  • I'm going to have a word with my doctor about this...

I suggest you all do too.

Ask him/her: "How do you feel that you've had your authority to decide whether someone is fit-for-work or not removed and placed in the hands of an automated, mindless bureaucracy..."

Or something along those lines, I don't think they're too happy about it, they don't like to see their patients go through all this undue stress and anxiety.

This is inhibiting them from doing their job properly.

  • Tnings have moved on a bit since this vid. Many charities have not signed up to the WP as they will not make any cash. Indeed, as the WP has a payment by results element, even the big boys will be hard pressed to make it pay as they are expected miss thier targets a la New Deal and Flex New Deal.

Also, many charities are being roped into participating in the WP by stealth. A4e, etc are sending clients to charities for training. However, these charities are NOT getting paid for their efforts.

  • Nice to see that somebody is at least doing something to resist the introduction of workfare into the UK.

Picket jobcentres, a4E and - just as important - name and shame private companies who take on slaves onto these workfare schemes.

  • @skay48 This lady is bang on.Working in pound land etc etc, is not going to cure unemployment ,it will be a means of fiddeling the jsa count again.Goverment are just trying to justify their own fat cat wages and being seen to do something,in this case its absurb as its going to cost the tax payer 100s of million again,we had new deal and now a new bloody name of WORK PROGRAMME google this and anyone can see its set for total failure,id sack smaith and grayling.

  • How ironic that in an age, where it is seen to be trendy to sign up for "fair trade" that our own goverment is putting the people who elected them into worse conditions

  • hahahahaha! I was being sarcastic you humourless shmucks.

let me explain for you, I was referring to the dehumanisation of the Jews and other 'undesirables' in germany during the lead up to the second world war.

There are many parallels in the discourse and language being used today IMO.

  • @napalmdeathfromabove People are very upset. I get the joke but its frightening, for people like myself, who are facing this abuse and who are trying to look for work (and in my case had my efforts messed around by private sector parasites like i2i/serco)

  • good video.

  • maybe some nice armbands for these 'volunteers' would be a good idea?

get them shovelling snow off pavements, they are , after all nothing but a drain on society.

    cameron uber alles :(

  • @napalmdeathfromabove 1.) NONSENSE!! you ignorant clown how are the poor and the unemployed a drain on society you pathetic idiot, i would rather pay some of my taxes to the sick the unemployed then to pay taxes for politicians second homes, here porn videos, there luxury holidays.

  • @napalmdeathfromabove 2.) i would rather pay money out my taxes to help unemployed then to pay for the bankers to miss-manage there business then for the public to bail them out what the fuck is wrong with you it stands to get worse if if workfare comes in you idiot. if you have nothing constructive to say sit down and shut up

  • It's all about control and forced labour @ £2 per hour or nothing at all is called slavery. The gvmnt is taking over the employment industry, via its quangos who are receiving large £amounts, stolen from the tax payer, which money is not reaching those in need. Reference DWP Nov 2010 accounts.

  • @BritishSnail How ironic that in an age, where it is seen to be trendy to sign up for "fair trade" that our own goverment is putting the people who elected them into worse conditions.
