I think Shane should focus on a putting out a weekly show and distribute it through youtube,host a podcast,etc. ECW used to only have a syndicated TV show before which they had to pay for. Now he can distribute the show for free (or on the cheap).

As one of the biggest fans of the original ECW who went to most of the shows, I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand i'm thinking if it's just yet another reunion show like it sounds, it's like how many more of these can they do since most of the old ECW guys probably can't perform at the level they did before? On the other hand, if it's an all new promotion with new talent (and a few of the originals thrown in for good measure) with the ECW styles & traditions then i'm all for it.

The only hope left is Heyman one day starts another wrestling company, or he takes over as head writer for TNA. This failure of a formula TNA has been following for the past several years is going to get old- even the bimbo will realize she's being conned by everyone around here- eventually. Hopefully then she gives into Heymans demands and brings him in. Heyman would turn TNA upside down- even if it's not called ECW- it'd still be far more authentic than any ECW reunion show.

They've done ECW reunion show after ECW reunion show in Philly and they drew less and less..and those were at the actual ECW Arena.  It was all downhill after the first Hardcore Homecoming show. Douglas doing another similar show @ the armory might be a good show, but will be a flop attendance wise. It's not authentic anymore. ECW, the mere thought of an "ECW 2" type concept has been chewed up, spit out, eaten again, shit out, slurped up, spit out. Enough is enough. No Heyman = unauthentic.

If this is the return of another form of ECW, I'm all for it. Though, they would have to mix in new young guys to get extreme. I mean, this isn't 1993, it's 2012 and the hardcore legends have all passed their primes. BUT, for nostalgia's sake, get them in and let them be themselves again, mix that up with some young talent, some extreme action (without going all CZW on us) and a creative mind like Paul Heyman in the mix, it could be exciting.

I am as much ecw4life now as i was in the 90's, and at every single buffalo show ever held, the only canada show ever held, several shows in ohio and yes, ever a trip to the arena in philly! I will love ecw always and enjoyed every reunion show, i could never get bored of them. With that being said, I think its a fantastic idea to bring in the younger guys and make a new promotion of it. I really really hope this does well. I'm so excited!!!
