I have a parent who has been a tremendous phony all her life...worried about how the family appears to everyone. (I believe it's the only reason she had kids) They are passive aggressive and never really liked me 4 who I am. (or my other siblings) We were merely extensions of them. Now this person is VERY unhappy and no-one wants to visit. They push everyone away with passive-aggression/negativity.
