It would be more important to see, what Microsoft's money does, via the Bill and Melinda Gates-Foundation. It promotes among other things non sustainable agriculture, which already caused immense damage in the last decades. And it cooperates with those criminals of Monsanto.

idealist speaking here..what is needed for the explosive expansion of technology and humanity same as always sharing and cooperation sharing of knowledge sharing of resources it's interesting that we have the communication tools and abilities but business lack the foresight and the will to open themselves to the possibilities that would overflow if they abandoned proprietary ownership to patents associated with knowledge etc human knowledge and abilities and business would expand exponentially

I guess every company has to come out with their 'technology in the future' advertisement. Some of this might not be too far-fetched, but is it really that useful? So we'll have virtual sticky notes instead of real ones... at least real ones don't blue screen. Sometimes people get too caught up in the gadgets and forget that they're not necessarily making life any easier... or more fun.
