Unfortunately, no. Its my understanding that if you upgrade to newer firmware than what is on my PSP, you will lose the ability to hack and run home brew software.

You don't have to run ChickHEN every time. Only when it loses the hack from memory.

Firmware must stay where it is. Do NOT upgrade, or you will never be able to hack this PSP again. Newer PSP's with firmware later than 5.03 are not hackable.

This PSP has firmware 5.03. Any PSP that has later firmware CANNOT be hacked. Many PSP-3000's these days have later firmware.
