  • I take 2000gms of Metformin a day. As you get older (I am 67) it isn't easy to lose weight. In my teens I was extremely active. in my 20s, 30s,40s and 50s I was busy running my own business. In my 40's I did three nights a week at the gym. I think we can link T2 diabetes with cheap junk food, not just from fast food outlets, but from supermarkets also. Maybe the chemicals we spray our foods with doesn't help either. Farmed fish, mass produced food is the cause, as much as gluttony.

  • @oldproji hows your heart do u feel angina on it..

  • @slazzer145

My heart is fine, although my blood pressure was up after my last HbA1c. That happens to everyone at times though, so nothing to worry about. I have also started to drink my tea black, as some scientists are now saying it helps to lower blood sugar levels. It's not bad either. Wish I could get sugar levels down to below 6 as they are still just above 7 after my yearly HbA1c test. I must exercise more too.

  • The key thing we need to teach everyone illumistream is to stay hydrated and slightly alkalined. The Body only needs minerals, essential fatty acids, and enzymes to function properly. Well that and of course plenty of water and to eat healthy. I think your video is great and we want to help as many people as we can. We are having 100% success rate with diabetes. Let me know if you would like to know more about this miracle satchet of ours that you simply add to your bottled water.

  • Ich nehme auch Metformin ich habe austrücklich gesagt bekommen nach dem essen da ist der magen gefüllt und da kann es dann nicht zu durchfall und den dingen kommen ich rate euch nehmt das medikament nach dem essen

  • ...

  • Metformin gave me mad diarrhea. Now All I take is half a glyburide and one actos and walk everyday and follow a vegan diet. Hopoefully after a few months on this vegan diet I will be off the meds completely.

  • @DigitalPraise7 get off the meds. I was told even though I lose weight I will still have to take my metformin, maybe a lower dose though. Losing weight is not a cure it maintains your (my) diabetes but doesn't make it magically go away. Oh and I got diarrhea from metformin too. trick is to take with food ;)

  • Stay off the hormone-loaded dairy and meat. Your pancreas will appreciate it. But no pharmaceutical company wants you to know this....

  • Thanks, I was told different today

  • @pigsaresmart

Actually the bread, pasta, pizza, crisps, chips, cakes, pastries are the things you should lay off. Refined carbohydrates are bascailly converted to sugar in the body.

  • @pigsaresmart if your diabetes improves on a vegetarian diet its due to the autoimmune response to the animal protien antigens and this is not really a cure but a denial of the cure.

  • A recent study just released may be of interest

Weight Loss with a Low-Carbohydrate, Mediterranean, or Low-Fat Diet

  • your presentation sounds like you are referring to Type I vs. Type II.

  • cool im the second comment~

  • Drugs can be dangerous. Try this. After 3 weeks of taking GlyPerfect, I noted a dramatic drop in blood sugar level. I had readings 150 to 165 prior to taking GlyPerfect , and some as high as 300+ml/dl. improvement after the third week. For the first time in over 10 years my fasting blood sugar levels are within "Normal" range. This morning I was at 105---WOW! My medications, diet and exercise did not quite control my blood sugar. Now it appears handled.
