Brando IS acting even when he's not... I saw some B-roll of the court when his son was on trial for murder. In shuffles old 300lb Brando, cool, calm, collectected.... But it was an act. He knew eyes were upon him, and he gave them NOTHING. Despite him being embarringly overweight and despite his son on trial for murder, he did not allow himself to look vulnerable.

The Godfather studio and producers had turned him down because he could be very hard to work with, his recent films had bombed and his demands were considered unreasonable.
