  • This video seems to be stolen from the ''real'' guy who placed all 3 videos on youtube(3 years ago he had all 3 videos up and in his youtube acc)..

Many scam companies like earth for green/earth for energy wind/How to solar etc have stolen/used/downloaded bits and pieces of his How To Videos and uploaded them in their company name, and are using them to market their own products.

I wish he would return to you tube n repost his videos..(and sue these jerks)

  • Whats the output of the alternator your using? And at what wind speeds?

  • ok i understand everything but the alternator,is it any old altornator,or are we sticking magnets in it,or is this a spacific alternator?

can anyone answer this cause it looks like this is any old alternator.

  • You are a CHAMPION!!!

  • yea, your video isnt self explanatory.

  • Nice job! waterprofing the alt. but what kind of control, is used to vary the field, if the field was full, granted it will generate, but takes a lot of energy to spin? is there a circuit that allows the blade to spin, and then turn on the field. in relation to the speed of the blade, or is it just self excited?

  • Hi, you seem to know what you are doing, but you go kind of fast, and some of the things that seem so obvious to you, I really don't know what they are. Could you do a redo, and go slower and define the things for us, so that we really know what you are talking about and what you mean, please. I am not complaining, I just need more details and more explanation, and THANK YOU for trying to teach us dummies!

  • what do you do with the electricity after its been generated, do you store it with batteries? or is it wired straight into the home?

  • a time-lapse video would be so electrifying!

  • Thank you for sharing this!

  • Some Volkswagen group alternators have an extended spindle (these are common on four cylinder transverse engined models) If a 24 volt stator is fitted instead of the 12 volt stator one might be getting nearer to the ball-park (assuming that 12 volts is wanted). Beware of alternators where the 150 amp output only occurs at highway speed. It is the low-idle performance that is more useful. Some "150 amp" alternators only give 28 amps at tickover. Duh!

  • Wind turbines can be a good substitute for generators. With the high demand on energy, renewable resources such as wind energy through these wind turbines is an excellent asset. Generating your own electricity results to big savings.

  • @TheFoster06 - haha- a man after my own heart. I really haven't had the time to build one as my main focus has been designing and building on demand hydrogen systems - no time to do much else right now.

  • Nice job. I wish we cold have them here. We live on a Guinness Book record windy street in Pittsburgh, CA , but the homes are not allowed to have windmills thanks to the new power station and builder agreement.

  • I am missing something here, where is video one, or where did the alternator come from, what type and so forth.

  • hi jst wnderd if i could use the copper coils out of a toy car motor cos i took apart a motor and it has copper coils and wnderd if i could use theis to make a minny terbine or combine loads to create a large 1 pls reply to this cs wuld lve to make 1

  • build your own generator

    buildgenerators.co m

  • IDIOT DONT SPEAK SO LOUD U JUST DESTORYED MY EARS ASSHOLE

  • zzz zzz zzzzzzzzzz

  • Will provide room and board in New York city if you can help implement this in my building!!

  • @gclassservices1 - View the Youtube "Off Grid Home"; and you'll find that you can buy the solar panel systems ready to go, many reputable firms. The solar dish setups take very little space and provide very high "concentrated" output. Personally, I think that the solar dish is the ultimate.

  • Decent audio. Very good video. Thanks.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Your alternator needs cooling or it won't last

  • @torkjoy1 not really they use cooling because on a car they run over 2000rpm you will rarly see a windmill get more than about 500 other than during a storm

  • sounds simple!

  • What do you use as a break for the blades in case of high winds?

  • With the wind in his back yard, he'll max out at 8 watts, so heat will not be a problem. The plan is to mount a single LED on top of wind mill to dissipate power. At night a deaf person can look out the window and see the LED glow, now you know the wind is blowing!

  • dude wont sealing the altenator in the pvc pipe make it overheat??? its suppose to breath.

  • Your overestimating how much power will run through it. Wind generators don't get very hot im not even sure if it will get hot at all.

  • wow three comments and 4,873 views.

  • how do you wire the copper wires??

  • yep no comments ans 4,500

  • wow no comments and 3645 views

    :P

  • I had a hell of a time finding the second video of yours. I found the first part perhaps posted by someone else and no clue to the second part. Now that I found it you should answer the posts.Wiring , mounting and I was going to ask about the bushing on the front before the blades. What did you do there ?
