2 strokes forever ! Sooner or later the technology will allow for cleaner 2 strokes, and the "king" will come back ! Those who have never driven a powerful 2 stroke never understands it. A 4 stroke will never be nearly as ready and fun as a 2 stroke: even with turbocharge or else ! Think only about all the mechanical power needed to move the cams !! I still remember one of the latest road monsters ever made: Suzuki RG Gamma 500, only a word to describe it: undrivable ! haha

I own an '05. Best bike I've ever ridden, by light years. First month I had it, I wasn't sure about it. But after I began to understand the nuances, it really showed its advantages.

Wanna drive hard out of slick corners? Short-shift. Bog the crap out of it. You'll still out-pull the 450's. Keep the R's low to flick it around like a 250 2-stroke. It'll corner like an RM.

In loam or high speed stuff? Work it through the mid-range and beyond. It'll pull and track straight.

@MightyKidMeal LMAO. Yeah, if you want to ride dual-sport and you're 70 years old. The only place where it has a chance is baja, and a lot of that is because the factories support it. The 500 is a beast. If the rules didn't favor the 4-stroke, the smokers would still rule.

This bike seems jetted perfectly and the sound is different than my bike on which i have a pro-circuit pipe and muffler.. Based on the crisp sound of this AF500, i would say the cylinder has been ported, carb modded/rejetted, he's probably using a v-force reed cage too....and the pipe and muffler are FMF units..

I would like to get the same crisp response that his bike has....what are the mods and done by who? : ) thanks
