  • You guys must the greatest at doing this stuff. Everyone is waiting for you to get together someday real life man! I know some of you cats do individual stuff but for real you should start doing originals together. You guys are really goodl!

  • I can imagine when the singer begins his Zep set in bars, drunks become confused, not sure if it's the jukebox or what.

  • My previous comment was directed as a response to jakep34's comment from 3 months ago.

Fabulous tribute, guys - all of you!

  • The singer is so good that he doesn't sound like someone singing in a similar style--It sounds exactly him. I mean, if I heard a recording of that dude and someone told me it was Robert Plant, I would totally believe them.

  • Agreed, James is amazing. Coming up next... Misty Mountain Hop.

  • I agree with AirTran the Bass isn't mixed properly. Otherwise good job.

  • We uploaded this video during an era when Youtube had implemented uncontrollable, extreme audio compression. If you search for Virtual Zeppelin on Vimeo, you'll hear it and it sounds fine. After an uproar from the music uploaders, YouTube has since since removed the compression. Check out Black Dog on my channel and the upcoming Misty Mountain Hop, or also Hey Bulldog, to hear how much better stuff sounds since they dropped it. -bitwonk

  • When you upload a video of YOU playing it better, THEN you've earned the right to make such a comment. Until then you just sound like a fucking tool!

  • The deal at the end there with the pitch shifting... I find it infuriating when I want only a single note to shift pitch and I have all these other notes in the chord to play too. How did you pull that off? And I hope it wasn't just by recording multiple tracks because I want to do that live. :-)

  • Yeah, I did it by recording multiple tracks. The only way I can think of to do it would be to program a split on your keyboard and somehow, if even possible, assign the pitch bend to only one side of the split, which is probably not going work for you.

  • Man, you guys blow me away. UNbelievable.

    Do some Midnight Oil, Pleeeeeeze.

  • If you ask me I think the bass is a little to loud, but other than that I love it!

  • Loved your playing! I was just wondering if you've ever thought of trying the intro for In The Light. It's such an amazing intro, and I've always wanted to see someone recreate it. Thanks again, and more videos please!

  • that white strat is delicious

  • delicious lol yea it makes such a full nice sound

  • Thanks!

  • Awesome Keyboards! maybe they can play No Quarter and Carouselambra with you! :D

  • There are so many good ones to choose from. Who knows? I've been listening to Custard Pie a lot. It's really up to the guys, though. I've heard some talk of Since I've Been Loving You, but I don't know if or when. (That's an intimidating piece. No pressure! ;-)

  • I cant believe it. Can listen that end played by someone. This end of this song is one of the best things ive ever heard. Awesome keyboards. SPECIAL SOUND.

    Congratulations for all.

  • Thanks, U2Madrid! I spent hours trying to get the sound just right. The harpsichord is super ambient -- I recorded it with a huge amount of reverb and only used the "wet" reverb signal -- none of the "dry" harpsichord is present at all. I love those sounds on the original, and the synthesizer sound reminds me of french horns.

  • Nice ears man. You nail it!

  • Fantastic

  • Thanks! It was a thrill to get to play keyboards with Virtual Zeppelin on this song.
