Government has the power to TAX (theft), print money ( inflation, debasing the currency lowering the standard of living for the poorest and the unemployed ), and borrow ( debt with interest, via Federal reserve central banking).
Government makes prices go up and quality go down, it is extremely inefficient and wasteful ie post office and DMV
