I was there at the inquest the day Mohamed Al Fayed gave evidence. And yes at times thats how he was coming across, making a fool of himself, i have to admit. But, most of the time, you could see that he was telling the truth. Remember the media most of the time do exagurate on things that were said.

as for diana, i don't think the government would kill the mother of the future king. surely the government wouldn't have done it without the queen's blessing - and i believe she loves william too much to take the person he loved most away from him. i just don't think so.

Problems:
1: Driver had a bill for several hard drinks at the bar that night and you don't have to be swaying like a sailor to impair your driving.
2: This plan could be completely fucked if the driver brakes after the strobe (ABS is very effective) rather than swerve like an idiot
3: the Non-MI5/6 body guard remembers no strobe and if he was an insider why would he risk his life in a car that he knew would crash
4: This requires incredible coordination of many people and too many to keep quiet

5:there is no guarantee Diana would die, especially if she wore her seat belt (which was proven to work perfectly)
6:This guy has not shown an ounce of proof or even motive for this scenario, even making up fanciful strobe weapons
7:how did they know they would be in that tunnel without paparazzi?
8:a strobe bright enough to blind would be extremely bright and be noticed by every witness, the Hertz bullshit is irrelevant to its effectiveness.

Erm, Diana had no chance of becoming Queen after she divorced Charles; and even if she had stayed married she would not have been monarch but just wife of the King.
The best she could become is the King's Mum after Charles had succeeded Elizabeth II then William is crowned after Charles death. She was a great philanthropist for charities but had no chance of changing the status quo within the monarchy/British power structure after the divorce.

Diana was murdered, that fact is indisputable, but it was by over zealous papparazzi and drunken driver.
It's an interesting conspiracy but reading the details of the transcript of the recent inquest, a lot of the stuff put out in the media and by conspiracy-philes is inaccurate.

You might want to look up the dictionary definition of 'Murder' and 'Indisputable'. Drink driving and journalistic harassment are irresponsible and illegal if to an excessive extent, but pre-mediated, cold-hearted homicide they are not.

Just thought I'd clear this up for anyone who hasn't seen Spooks. This is a fictional brittish TV show and in this particular episode MI5 were asked to come up with a believable scenario in which the brittish government could have killed Diana and exactly how they did it. All completely fictional!

When it was aired here in America on A&E they had a documentary on it right after going over all the program fibs and lies and misinformation. I'm surprised you didn't have the same documentary including the independent civil court case findings and evidence aired where you live.
Though great entertainment.
ie) I didn't know till her sons mentioned it in the documentary Dianna refused safer Secret Service cars and bodyguards.

Fair point,but at the same time if that were true then i'm sure they would realise such conspiracies never carry any real weight,most who believe in them who speakout either are,or get labled as nutjobs regardless.Personally i think its great importance to keep an open mind as none of the evidence seems very conclusive.I for one believe this isn't outside mi6's capabilities but the various motives seem a little far fetched and strange,but who really knows?!

That's an incredibly far fetched conspiracy theory for which there is very little evidence. So lets assume it's true for just a second, what can anyone do? Let her rest in peace and leave her family to get on with their lives. For the record, how could they be so sure it would kill her? If she'd been wearing a seatbelt she may have survived.

bayouboy41 thinks I wanted Diana dead. This is far from the truth. What I was saying is: Diana DID NOT die in the tunnel, she was conscious in the hospital. The accident was staged to kill her. When she didn't die in the tunnel she was killed my the English secret poilce. There was a news report that played ONLY once, it Diana was in the hospital and had ONLY suffered a broken leg. That report was never played again? I think there was foul play. Look in the hospital NOT the tunnel for the ANSWER
