@RamonVerheijen as far as i know yes. 2 amps are playing at the same time. one is a clean sound and the other is distorted.

@RamonVerheijen The always distorted amp does not have a huge amount of distortion, just a little bit to make the signal a little more gritty. The huge amount of distortion (such as the tonebender and the gt-2) effect both cabs.

Why were the mids scooped on that Boss EQ?

Justin uses a very high-mid/treble orientated sound. Mid scooping is almost the exact opposite

@pyurmassacur I believe that the Boss EQ pedal is used to control his overdriven/dirty tone that comes from the Turbo rat and the Overdriver. This pedal will not be effect his clean tone. Overdriven bass tone with a "smiley face" EQ sounds immense!

@LWhitebass Its very likely that the Overdriver is NOT part of the dirt chain. You can CLEARLY see the "Pedals 1-11" marked on the ISO box. Which would mean the OD is part of his clean effects chain, since there is only 10 other pedals on the board.

My guess is ...it was the last pedal added and the only spot open on the board was beside his dirt chain. Hope this helps!

That isnt the only mistake...... or the tech saying yes too early. The same thing happened when the Dunlop guy says "Is that an original one from the 60's?"(tonebender)...then the tech goes "mmm hmm" ....Which is TOTALLY false. If you look at an original one the lettering on the "Volume-Treble Bass-Fuzz" labels is alot bigger. Which makes this one a re-issue.

It could be because many older fuzz/disortion pedals just suck the bottom end out of the bass signal. That has been my experience with fuzz pedals, anyway. He's probably using the eq to keep lowend in the signal.
