Actually this was very helpfull. For my wedding i want to do flower head pieces because its a "fairy" (kinda) themed wedding and this is actually a good idea minus the pendant......ideas....
LOL 4:58-5:01 "You're not posting this anywhere, right?" Dear Mama-Sarumu1, thank you for giving beauty to the world. I would love to take a garland-making class with you.
@monsoongurl per my mother, you can buy the needle at "joann fabrics" (joann dot com) - there's a needle section, look for the "doll making needle" - it is sold in a pack of two. (not available at walmart or michael's)
Thanks so much for posting. Your mother was great! When I got a quote of 70-95 per garland for my wedding, I decided to make my own garland. I'd appreciate your mother providing more details. :) Thanks again.
Thanks for showing your mom making a garland. I am taking Bharatanatyam and have to make a garland for my Allaripu puja. I didn't even know what a flower garland was before seeing this video.
Your mom's really cute! and this video was super helpful! i used to make garland for Lord Krishna today! (its Janamashtmi!) thanks so much for posting! =)
I so love this garland. Nice colors. I wish I had seen this last week, I could have made one for Varalakshmi Devi, Bad luck. Anyways .. I'll make one for Krishna-Ashtami. Thank you so much Vasanthi Aunty.. and your son for this video.
Thanks for posting this video! I am sure others will find it useful so I hope you don't mind that I have shared it on my site to help people make their own garlands for their weddings (check it out on shaadiwithstyle [dot] com.

Thank you so much for posting this video! My ten year old daughter has to present some sort of jewelry made from natural materials (flowers, shells, rocks etc) for her girl scout troop. Thanks to your mom she will be making this beautiful garland and researching how it is used in the Hindu temple (and we're of catholic and baptist descent) so we thank you for our education, the skills she can use to educate others AND for giving us a beautiful creation to boot! Thanks Mom!
