Puede q este juego no tenga los mejores gráficos, pero tiene una gran historia... Y en mi opinión este juego aún considerando lo viejo q es, es demasiado bueno y da mas miedo q muchos otros juegos nuevos q han salido, por lo menos en mi infancia

@Angelo2night That's why I liked Resident Evil REmake the best, it had such a beautiful superficial atmosphere, but the deeper it got, the more corrupt it became. It's very much a metaphor to Umbrella's existence: Be a huge corporation that was mostly for good, but have an evil, hidden part of it. Same thing could be done with Castlevania, except nobody sees dracula as good.

ARCBEACH, Silent hill is amazing, but 64 and legacy of darkness, were amazing games, the only castlevania games i like, until this day, that villa and that game scares the hell out of me and im 18

Critics can say that Castlevania 64 wasn't that good of a game but they can't say the same for the soundtrack. This is good music for a cartridge.

This song was always unsettling for me. I grew up playing Super Castlevania IV and Dracula X and when I was 9 years old playing Castlevania 64 for the first time, I thought "oh boy, I can't wait to whip some skeletons!" Relaxing music in a villa with relaxing Victorian interior design, and ravenous vampires are dropping from the ceiling.

Castlevania gets a lot of hate. Some warranted though the game is actually pretty great. But haters and fans aside, I think we can all agree that C64 is the best Castlevania game at creating such a sombre, chilling, alone... atmosphere.

Oh my god.

I hated the Villa.

The music here bored me quickly (especially after such great tracks like Castle Center) and it soon became annoying when I kept dying in that hedge maze and had to respawn to this.

No other Castlevania has this "I sense souls of villa's inhabitants in the walls" chilling but wonderful sensation ! For me, this level (and all that it includes : music, encounters...) is truely a masterpiece over the whole saga. Not the best. But with the bests.

People say this is "creepy". No, Silent Hill is creepy, this is actually relaxing to me, almost brings a somber feeling, like when it's snowing hard outside & its cold, but you want to go out.

@sebasrd24 Its that kind of feeling in the middle of the night when you're trying to sleep and you feel something by your bed side. You don't see it, yet it's there. You feel relaxed but not entirely unaware. It's death's cold hand, caressing your head, smiling at the fact that you have one less day.

Ya the game may not have been the best Castlevania, but it was true to the 2D Castlevanias in terms of the atmosphere, scenery, and feel. Hey man, you should put "villa, level, stage" into the descriptions. I searched up "Castlevania 64 Villa Soundtrack", but no vids showed up. I guarantee more views if you do that.

It's a cheezy harpsichord sound, you can tell it's harpsichord cuz of the trill.. Dulcimer would be more 'twangy'
