I'm in my senior year at college. I will be graduating soon with a bachelor's degree in criminology. I was wondering... are there any pre-test for the LSAT? I know that I have a lot to learn, but I'm very determined to go to law school, any pointers?
That was your statement. Please watch your statement again. I just did. Now please advise me or explain how you came up with your ending LSAT score with your calculation? So this will clarify my mid understanding as well as others if you post it public.
What I said was a quarter of the (of all the questions per section) correct in EACH section and still be in the top 80th percentile. If you have one of the tests the is curved as one of the "difficult" tests this calcuation is correct. YOU will not know what test you have or the pre set curve it will be scored under.
@samikabir the last thing I will say on this topic is you might want to consider learning how to be dispassionate in your reading and comprehending. It is an absolute MUST for this test. Drawing conclusions and jumping on a correction is invited on the test if you want to be wrong.
Wow! What an attitude? Here you are posing on YouTube to be nicest person to help everyone with your best ability of sharing knowledge. And just one comment brings out the cocky-ness in you? Double standard. If you pose and speak in public, have the decency to be polite. And by the way, if you respond to this, stick to the point. Show your wisdom which you are trying on YouTube.
@samikabir you failed to mention that I posted in kind privately on your page with all due kindness. Your response was to delete it. Shall we speak of being polite? Proper right now, would be to admit that you were incorrect and be thankful that my initial response to you was polite.
What happened to your math my dear? 1/4 of the Q's right? That gives you 40 raw points if you get 10 right answers out of avg 28 Q's. (more than 1/4) you will nearly pass the exam. Sorry to burst your bubbles.
@samikabir I think you MIGHT need to do a bit more research on the grading of the LSATS before you speak. Your graded on a 120-180 point system. My math is not incorrect your knowledge is just lacking
@samikabir you are incorrect sir. Her statement was "You could only get a quarter of the questions right in a section and still be in the top 80th percentile" 6:19
here is an example: section1=8, section2=26, section3=25, section4=25
total raw score of 84, this is good for the top 5th percentile most of the time
STD's? lol.... Anyway, you said that even if you only get 1/4th of the questions correct in a given section, that you will still be in the 80th percentile. I have never heard that. Can you tell me where you got this info because I am very glad to hear it. Also, what kind of study schedule are you implementing?
@laidbackguy57 hey I meant in one secrion. Since each test has a "difficulty level" associated with it they each have their own individual preset curce I have read the little morsel in a few books but most recently in the Kaplan book I referenced in this video. I am trying to do 2 hours a day with 1 weekly practice test. It's important to pace yourself and start thinknig this way as part of your every day life
@laidbackguy57 remember when you were learning to drive? You only get better with practice. I was going to do If/Then statements tonight since I am waiting til tomorrow to do them I will implement how to use them in your daily life so they are really familiar.
