The TT600 is a true piece of British engineering. the reason it sounds fluffy is because the fuel injection was always a bit rubbish down in the low revs. They sorted this out post 2000 though and made a truly remarkable bike even more remarkable. Its just a shame it needs careful attention to detail when servicing. All in all its very well put together and designed. Triumph put that same engine into the SPEED FOUR and made one of the best naked triumphs of the new Decade
