You have amazing potential. This is just my opinion, but if got voice choaching you could be your best which I can tell would be amazing. You tend to break your voice at times which is yes a style but If you made your voice smoother in a sense I think you would sound amazing.

Hey, Carrie!

Get yourself a good voice coach, a good producer, and a good manager; for two reasons:

1) You are worth it (for your natural talent) and

2) That's going to make things much lesss difficult in the music business (if that's ur goal) - I've known of good talents that never made it becasue they overlooked the importance of voice coaching and music production and they didn't know much about business administration.

Go for it and keep at it!!! U R FABULOUS!!!

I couldn't hear the guitar that well....As far as the callus goes..are you using light gauge strings? That would help where you shouldn't have to press so hard. If you using mediums that's probably why? Your picking hand you should practice brushing the strings with just your fingertips not towards the middle of the finger. Stevie Ray Vaughn use to put crazy glue on his fingertips to harden them to play longer because he used jumbo size strings for a fuller sound. :]

oh i don't mind the callouses, really. I'm kinda proud of them! But the marks on my right hand arent from picking, I use my fingertips like im supposed to, but the problem is that i subconsciously press the high E with my other fingers while I play.

I've heard of the crazy glue technique! and burning the skin on a stove should do it too... lol.

Actually burning your fingertips is not good. Don't do it. It can damage your nerves to numbness. Be careful. :]
