  • Glad to have Darth Vader teaching me this

  • PHIL TIPPETT??? He's the one who made the visual effects on Twilight and New Moon, Dragon Heart, Spiderwick Cronicles, Starship Troopers, Indiana Jones: Temple of DOom, Robocop 1,2,3, Star Wars, etc...Believe me or not, it's true...WOOOO LONG LIVE PHIL!!!!!

  • Exelent !!!!!!!

  • This, Rocky, Terminator? Come on, those three series of movies are the best movies ever created, simply put.

  • classic movie i love it but it has many mistakes and i think that they are very stupid mistakes i believe speilberg could avoid at least some of them for example the scene with the mechanic hand and the dino egg

  • One of the best films ever made!

  • how do they make sounds n voices of dinos???

  • @pakistanzindabada I think they talkm about it later but basically they had someone go around collecting a whole bunch of sounds and mixed them together. For example the velociraptor's voice is blend of a walrus and dolphins.

  • the first jurassic park is definitely a classic

  • Hey!!! He's the voice of "Darth Vader"

  • speilberg has plans to do make a fourth jurassic park film to be shot in real D 3D. that's gonna be awesome. i also want spielberg to convert all of the indiana jones movies, jaws, saving private ryan, and E.T. to real D 3d.

  • The breakthrough of CGI effects for the new era. No film has come close to topping this film's contribution to special effects

  • What, not even "2001?"

  • Does Universal studios give a shit if you upload their movies on youtube? Because I might upload this movie.

  • please upload jurassic park!!!

  • Could be expensive for you...

  • James Earl Jones? Did he do the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies?

  • actually i was informed that he did speak for darth vader

  • he was Mufasa in the lion king too didn't he?

  • of course he did the voice of darth vader. i thought everyone knew that. go to imdb.

  • @henf5671

I knew that, I was just making sure

  • The book was set in Costa Rica and the movie was filmed there too. I visited Costa Rica myself about four years ago and it is the real deal.

  • @actcoohen I thought the film was shot in Hawaii

  • how on earth was this film made with such realistic beauty and yet todays films look fakeish. jurassic park looked so real that wen i was younger i thought the place exsisted :D

  • i was 7 when i first saw this movie with my dad, 'll never forget hat,.

i haven't see this show (making of) for more than,...dunno, the making of was right after it came to cinema, and that was in 1993 (in Austria)

  • its amazing how they made such realistic creatures with the technology they had back then, todays movies dont look this good...the best trilogy there is hope there is a fourth.

  • yep, how come we screw up digital effects now days? even avatar dosnt look as good as this.

  • Um no, that is seriously playing God, or whoever you believe in. Besides, there's bound to be some security breach that the dinos could manipulate, and escape, exactly like they did in the movie. And scientist don't necessarily know what they can do. Oh, and scientists could clone a dino if they had a good sperm sample.

  • Spielberg was kind of right. Jurassic Park Is a Classic and Legend.

  • The clip of King Kong where Ann is screaming doesn't sound like Fay Wray. Anyone notice that? As for Jurassic Park itself, my favorites are still the raptors. I love them the most, though T-Rex is my second favorite. Wouldn't it be great if scientists could REALLY recreate dinosaurs like they do in this movie? Anyone else wish for dinosaurs to come back?

  • it would be cool but also too dangerous for us humans to be around especially with my favorite the clever raptor we would be all fucked

  • @damnitstakenfilms raptors arent that big for real.. search wikipedia.. they were smaller than humans and loks alot different for real

  • This movie was so great. The T Rex has always stuck with me, it was terrifying but beautiful!

  • I think it is so insane that this film is nearly 20 years old and the CGI looks better in scenes than most films we have today. Such a fucking classic.

  • @Crim122 MAINLY because the CGI cost TONS - Jurassic Park spent almost $15 million on CGI - MOST other movies - will go cheap - and spend $5 million - and you can TELL the difference!!!! And Speilberg ain't no cheap director - he would NEVER take a movie - that cut the budget on teh CGI!!!!!!!!

  • @Crim122

it means that the film industry is going downhill, this is the era of the decadence of all arts in facts

  • OMG!! Its Darth Vader!!!!!

  • dis movie continues 2 amaze me.why?

  • I would probably believe just about anything James Earl Jones said was true.

  • @erinkelly83

hahaha yeah I'm in a daze of awesomeness when he speaks

  • the small raptor in the egg is so small and cute but not so cute when it grows up and wants to eat the living snot out of you

  • in short words this film is simply Legendary!

  • omg me too. when i saw that sceane i was watching it in the dark and my cat opened my door to my room cause it was cracked and i screamed so loud.

  • my big brother is really big fan of this film he has has all three films

  • The novel was way better, but the movie was fantastic!

  • @DinoDude65 i had enough of this crap "the book is than the movie"...man a movie is much more complex and interesting than a book, if u actually look deeper into the film you can find a lot of story behind such as even a crow

  • @Gektek you know most of the time the book is more info

but the movie is less info but more eh story

and some books that are used to make a film are just crap:)

  • @Gektek

A movie is meant to be easy and fun to watch without seeming like work. But if you can actually stomache sitting down and reading, there's no way a film can compare to a book. Not a chance.

  • @blueshoals thats the thing with movies you can make it seem easy but you can make it "hard" as well, if you listen to everything and look at all the symbolism in a movie there is a lot more than you think in a movie or you can just lay back and not concentrate on every bit of the film and btw im certain there is more effort put into a film than a book

  • Films are amazing forms of art, of course, but the cliche that most people talk about is absolutely true.

There's nothing any artist of any kind can do that rivals the power of a vivid imagination.

I can guess that most writers, artists, and film makers will probably admit that they struggle to bring the their work up to the level of their imagination.

Novels have nothing but text to pierce our imagination. No special effects or high budgets. That's why I find them superior, at least.

  • @blueshoals

movie is not meant to be easy and fun to watch, some movies are like jurassic park

but what about movies like 2001 a space odyssey, wouldnt say its fun but yet one of the greatest films ever made! I no y u see a book is better than a film, but its arguable!

  • i love movies a lot more, but it is impossible for a film to have the detial of a movie! but a film is a combination of many artistic elements!

but if u wer to make to lotr word for word, it will be impossible and probably end up 12 hours for each film.

  • @emiljose15 of course u cant because that would be stupid if u made the movie go from detail to detail with the book as u said it would go for many hours but dont u think it is much harder to create a film with all the different elements such as visual effects and acting than to write a story...btw im happy that u like film better :)

  • @Gektek yeah i agree with you, but film making is more business than art these days and about 100 people or what ever will be working on a movie, whereas the writer has to create a world just using his mind. to be honest i dont know whats harder. i just know i like movies better lol

  • i'm 16 now, and i saw this when i was a kid, Age 5-12, i was obsessed with dinosaurs and all of those discovery channel dinosaur programs. I have two boxes full of toy dinos that is over 100 figures in all. God, I loved being a little kid. My life is now boring lol.

  • are you spamming kendyllwelcher78

  • The scene that scared me the most as a kid was when the Ford Explorer started falling out of the tree and almost crushed Tim and Alan. I fast forwarded through that scene cause it scared me everytime.

  • I thought the scene where the guy is in some sort of power grid or something and a raptor pops out of the wires, that part always scared me

  • me too

  • that's fucking awsome!

  • nice..realitic are really much better than 3D and higher graphic designs..well computers are really superior this time around..

  • awsomeee <3

  • its amazing how much work goes into somthing that goes by so quick.its also amazing how far graphics have come along

  • you do relize this made 1 billion dollars.

  • yeah.i was just saying that so much work went into a great movie.and it seems to b shorter then and hour.and i was also saying that the graphics were good.nothing bad about it.i love jurassic park.ive watched it my whole life.

  • JAMES EARL JONES AKA DARTH VADER

  • This was a truly ground-breaking film.

When I was, like, 7, I saw this film. And for a long time this was my favorite movie of ALL TIME! And All Of The CGI That They Used In This Was Incredible. It is in the Top 20 Box Office World-Wide All-Time.

I don't know if the list i looked at was right or not, but it got about $800,000,000 world-wide.

  • It was even 914,6 Million Dollars.

  • @AandAsCrazedVids Ya it was awesome, great fantastic movie, too bad the next 2 were so incredibly terrible

  • LOL, The Next Two Weren't Terrible. Just weren't as good as this one. I am currently watching "Jurassic Park III". I love the Spinosaurus! LOL! Do you remember anything from that movie? The Spino & T-Rex Had A Duel, and the Spinosaurus Decapitated The T-Rex! LOL!

  • No,it simply snapped the neck of it.

  • it snapped it's neck off of it's spine, how bout that. lol!

  • Awesome! :D

  • lol at darth vader doing the voice over haha

  • There are scenes in Jurassic park 1 that are truly majestic.

  • I always liked how it of course has plenty of the thrill ride, freak out, jump type scenes, but also the absolute wonder scenes.

The music really takes it to another level too.

  • I always thought that Jurasic Park, Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean were the best movie-series ever! Lord of the Rings is of course on this list, only I don't like it that much!

  • I have the Trilogy. But everytime it comes on cable HD I gotta watch it :) W/ new tech I can't wait for this to come out on Blu Ray 3D!

  • Didn't James Earl Jones voice as Mufasa in the Lion King? It feels like listening to Mufasa! xD

  • Yup! He was the voice of Mufasa.

  • lol if u pause at 5:44 u can see the recipe for makin a dino!

  • Of course, they have made some different dynosours for make them more suitable for the movie.....velociraptors are the main exemple.

And they have made many mistakes ex: Tyrannosaurs Rex had a good view....

However must read the novel which has ispirate the movie! Is more beautiful than the film!

  • back 2 life with credibility- right da dilophosaur and raptors in dis movie was BULLSHIT! DEY NUTHIN LIKE DAT IN REAL LIFE!

  • Talking like a dumbass rapper is one thing but to type that way is ultra-stupid.

  • Nice spelling dumb ass. If you are going to use swear words at least know how to spell the body part you probably are holding right now because your GF left you.

  • Ha ha, ur not 2 good at combacks r u? It's Okay, youtube luvs da slow ppl too

  • wait...i know what u meant but it would have been better if u said "i know ur holding ur right now"...but that was close.a small mistake lol!wait...go jurassic park!!!^_^

  • even with advancmemnt in special effects these days i don't think i'll ever feel that same magic as i did when watching Jurassic Park for the first time.

  • Huh, so this is where that Adult Swim ad came from (the dinosaur making the face in the 1925 film).

  • Were any animals harmed during the making of jurassic park? It must've been painful when the velociraptor was eaten by the T-rex

  • Well, I know they had to tame the T-Rex

  • 1993,, but the sfx still looks amazing until now

  • Joens makes a mis-statement at 1:47.

"recalled from extinction the greatest creatures our world has ever known."

He's mistaken. The greatest creatures the world has ever known are watching this video right now.

  • @Hiraghm Interesting point of view

  • I see I got downchecked for it.

I guess it's become unPC to champion your own species (if you're human.)

  • that guy is mufusa hahah how eva u spell it i love his voice

  • Thanx dude,, realy nice

  • no problem!

  • 3:08 OMG tHAT GUY MADE DARTH VADERS Voice i know it!!!!

You can even hear it on hes voice!!!! =D

  • @PivotSweden thats james earl jones no shit he did darth vaders voice

  • J.E.J, most awesome voice on this earth, seriously

  • Loved the voice of James Earl Jones in the "lion king".

His voice is nothing less than majestic.

  • Wonder how they made the Dinosaurs look real =o

  • great movie!

  • OMG DARTH VADER!!!!!!!!

  • James Earl Jones is the man

  • cool movie indeed. made a revolutionary chage in digital cinema

  • Thanx for sharing, I love films and how they're made.

  • It's 2009 and the JP series is the only movies with realistic dinos lmao!

  • Almost 2010!

  • sad isnt it?

this is probably my favorite music ever for a movie, it rivales star wars,(composed by the same guy too)

i wanna try something like this, in blender hopefully doing it well

  • This film always remains in my mind as the 1st of the "new age" of digital movies

(i'm aware it's not.. but to me nothing was ever the same.. or impossible)

  • you ever notice johns hand is covered in freckles, its like insanely covered in freckles

  • after that guy said "how did you do this?" what did the other guy say? I couldnt make it out

  • he says 'I'll show you."

  • Dr.Grant: How did you do this?

    Hammond: I'll show you. <<

  • Even if james earl jones sang "old mcdonald had a farm" it would sound dramatic

  • the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant, next to the power of the force...

  • here here!

  • once that theme gets in your head it doesn't come out

  • not that much .. but still .. steven spielberg is the best..

  • james earl jones also did the lion king as well as sandlot

  • James Earl Jones dude. Its Darth Frikkin Vader for crying out loud ;)

  • yo quiero verlo en español!!!

  • James Earl Jones does a GREAT job with every thing that he does...

  • But the velociraptor used in Jurassic Park wasn't realistic because in real life this creature wasn't so big........

Also the T-rex was really different.

But that's ok because it is film

  • I LOVED that movie when I was younger :)

  • jurassic park introduced veloceraptor to the world & made him a superstar after trex.

  • james earl jones

  • This movie. Will always remain my all time favorite. Not even the two Transformers movies from 2007and 2009 won't be my all time favorite but they are my favorites. Jurassic Park has a special spot in my heart.

  • Dinosaurs stood the test of time. Who agrees?

  • YA! Star Wars, Jaws, Aliens, Terminator and Jurassic Park! My favorite movies!

  • 0:40 I've seen the movie so many times, but for some reason I don't remember seeing that.

  • I've seen this movie so many times. I know every line in the movie.

  • one of my favourite films ever

  • Ive read that book, its a great one that!

Why I wanted to watch the film.

  • hhm, dinossauros já sairam de moda! HSIUSHAIUASH

  • 0:57 Look its littlefoots mother she survived:)

  • Aww..I love The Land Before Time..*reminiscing* What a memory.. Thanks!

  • Yeah i just saw it againg for the first time in years great film

  • shit why be jame earl when being a trex is way better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i would give anything to have a voice like james earl jones'

  • I remember to watch this in T.V

  • It was awsome to grow up in the 90`s!

  • Agreed!

  • LOL 1925 ajaj.

  • figuratively, this movie came out 15 years before it was supposed to, the visuals and graphics were amazing for 1993!

  • yes bu im so glad that it came out when it did, but imagine if it came it this year. It probably wouldnt be as popular or as good as it was back then. Withall these special effects and CG, it would have just been apart of the crowd.

  • I still stand firm that the T-Rex walking in front of the jeep is the best piece of cgi in movies to this day.

  • agreed - this was a "great" film

  • im reading the book like page 200 were the dino's get out

thumbs up if you like movies better

thumbs down if you like books better(nothing bad to books i love em)

  • James Earl Jones? Awesome.

  • yaeh, he voiced Darth Vader!

  • i read in a dinosaur magazine a few years ago that scientists have found a similar way of making dinosaurs from jurassic park

  • your sp awesome for posting this...

  • It's incredible such enormous and powerfull creatures once existed, always loved Dinosaurs.

  • Yo u should put the actual movies of all the Jurassic park movies that would be awesome

  • lol epic scream on king kong

  • I love you for posting this, thank you.

  • My favorite movie of all time!

  • There are other possibilities. I beleive in the KT Boundary extinction theory, for example, and dont see how a quick, widespread destruction of the Dinosaur would lend the time for the 'millions of years' of evolution that would take for T-Rex to sprout wings and feathers.

  • Thank you Dr. Grant, but thats your opinion.

  • I love Jurassic Park movies.

    5/5*.

    Michael Crichton RIP

  • lol..... buddy it seems u belive on darven theory of evolution.... bro.. if so then where is this evolution now? y do monkeys further convert to humans? y do other animals stopped changing themselves now?

  • congratulations, u are an idiot!

  • thanks btw! i got congrates by a duffer .. lol

  • Animals havent stopped changing themselves now. just because you dont understand something doesnt mean its wrong.

  • lol again....... go get someone who can explain ur theories doctor ...haha

  • They don't make real movies anymore, Star Wars, Home Alone, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, ET they just won't come around again.

  • Jurassic Park IS a classic!

First two.. third one, not so much.. still good though..

  • Cheers for Uploading this!! =D

  • I love the music in Jurassic Park. This awsome behind the scenes vid is also awsome.

  • its darth vadar's voice!

  • spielberg referenced gorgo. WIN

  • Damn i love this movie:X:X:X:X!
