its not just the dresses but the sets and every one elses sashes and clothing depending on the set, the white is to signify the purity of georgina, when she becomes a women in the bathrom, the red in the blue outside, dark and evil, cold like his business he conducts there, whilst the kitchen is green etc etc, the only time the sashes dont change is an interruption of set
