WOW!!! I can't believe I found My Uncle Jimmy Weston song on youtube. He was the best singers of do wop of the 1950's and should've received more regonition for his contribution for this music. My father was the background singer for this group named Leroy Jones. When he died in 1992 he had so many fans at his funeral that I didnt realize how famous he was . Thank you for the memories from the Jones Family.

@nattyrose3 Another thing you may notice is that the "peak of nostalgia for this era" happened in the '70s and '80s, and then in the early '90s the rise of political correctness made nostalgia for this era "uncool", and movies/retro diners/oldies that played these songs quickly became hard to find, alas. I googled "50s music" and one of the top results involved a "retirement community" for this stuff. But this stuff will be enjoyed even in the 2050s when I am an old man!
