I went here in October last year just after the kidnappings no problems at all - i also visited Mombasa and ...... i didnt get killed :) - people like you make it worse as a lot of money they rely on is from tourism

The Place is a SHIT hole and the kenya people are RACIST and nasty. The poverty is extreme. Honestly lets stop talking rubbish and accept the fact that you are highly likely to get killed or kidnapped in Mombasa. Tourists should AVOID this place and the people like a PLAGUE. I took these lovely beaches for granted when I was growing up in Kenya!!!...after 20 years living in North America I long to be back to this paradise...wonderful weather, delicious foods and the warmest people on the planet!!!!!.

I lived on bamburi beach in 1979. The best year of my life. I understand that our house is now a beach bar. I can't wait to go back to Kenya one day it is the most amazing place

There is a place in North Coast called I'l Covo its a bar/club/restrurant. The place also does Sheesha!

Fantastic, bwana. Caught a couple of Dorados via boat while I was there ; know the guy who runs the boats. The cook made a fantastic fish and chips out of them, superb, I tell you, man.

Incidentally, if you get a sea urchin spine in you, get papaya skin and use it like a band-aid. Little trick by the locals. Hakuna Matata, yeah?

we used to go to  bamburi beach for summer holidays . the thoughts if coconuts,mangoes and fried mogo make mouthwatering memories.Malindi is also a great spot.
