This is not really a Chinese plane. From the tail i can tell that you must be flying with "China Airlines" (CI), which is in fact the Taiwanese flag carrier headquartered in Taiwan. What cause its name "China" is the result of a series of complicated historical and political reasons. You may do further research on wiki if you feel like.
