The power cable from the battery to the breaker is too thin!! You should install at least 2 or 0 gauge for two amps! This is to avoid any fire or short. That 8 gauge (i think) is to thin for this job.
@gonzalo4to well it depends on ur setup if u have a 4 channel amp for tweeters and 6x9s plus a 1000w amp its like running an 1200w subs because ur not going to put everything full on 4 channel amp mabey a quarter on all the gains and it will sound perfect and subs on full u need probably 4 gauge is probably overkill and split to 8 gauge
probly the worst explanation ive eva your supposed to take everything out and hook it up 1 by 1 so we knoe wats goin on.but instead u wanna be a fat slob and just point at everything. noob
@TheUnbeen dude shut the fuck up not everybody can be so knowledeable on car amp amps like you fukhed i clicked on the link to watch an informative explanation on how to hook ups not so see some fat fuckn finger pointing at shit in a poorly lighted environment your a joke.
@trk63 Who the fuck are you to rip on me, im not a fat slob, haha yea sorry its not simple enough for you, i had to figure this shit out for myself, you fucking dumb ass, like i said before this is very simple, this is the most basic dual amp set-up. Go to the other videos on the right side of this then.
Hey everyone! I need help with THIS: I already have a Boss CX800-1600W CHAOS EXXTREME SUBWOOFER! But i have a little problem. I have 2boss 12" 800watts subwoofer + 2boss 8" 400watts SUBWOOFER + 1Boss 300watts tweeters 2x 150watts each. What amp can i add on to what i have already or what will play all those & still leave room for more power to be on the safe side. Let me know so i know which to buy. I'm still new to all this & Thank you
i have a few questions installing a second amp... the breaker is like a fuse egg right...also are both the splitters in the second amp the same for sides...lastly about the remote wire, where can i wire it, or do i need to run it all the way to the head unit??
