jeez, where did the last 19 years go? too fast!! pumpkins, soundgarden, A.I.C, screaming trees, chilies, nirvana, stone temple pilots, pearl jam, Kyuss, R A T M etc etc etc not since the late 60's/early 70's had there been such a huge amount quality bands/song writing/musicians, every band was different from the next, we we're blessed to have been there!!! so lets say 1971-1991 (20 years) 1991- 2011 (20 years also) so anytime now we're due another wave of proper music, fingers crossed (please)
@ilovemywah I do think so we are at the edge of another good music area people are trying out new stuff and crossing boundries of music styles and that maybe makes some bad music sometimes atleast bands are trying to be different allthough I think there arent really bad music areas like you say every time has its good and bad bands its only was populair at the time that makes it look shitty sometimes just have to find the right bands and then again people like different kind of music
The Pumpkins were never my favorite band, but that coda at the end of this song always nails me through the heart...Billy's solo is instinctually perfect.
D'arcy and James broke up a couple of hours, before this performance... how the fuck could they play after that?.... oh yeah and i forgot, LONG-HAIRED BILLY CORGAN 4 THE MUTHAFUCKIN WIN!!!!!
i was born in 93 lol love this band to death i wish they would get together one more time but i dont see it happening. why cant they just fucking suck it up and play together i mean the police did it i bet sting is a way bigger asshole than Billy. If i can see the old band once i could get raped in the ass right after the show i will still die happy lol
It's funny that Billy later called this one of 'the worst shows' the band ever played...if this was an off-day for them, then man! That was a kickass performance!
Got to admit it. I miss the original Pumpkins!! The sound doesn't do much for me without the image. Paul and Ringo? I miss John and George in the lineup.
