ok so i was wondering how bad it hurt on a scale of 1 to 10 . im 15 and im thinking about getting one .

i wanna get a piercing but im scared it would hurt like hell. it looks so painful

@ChelseaFcTheChmps not at all! Just a QUICK little pinch! I flinched because i was surprised he was doing it, the piercer i usually have always warns me! lol. if you have your belly button pierced, it hurts 10x less than that, IMO

@ChelseaFcTheChmps i have 2 in each ear lobe, my cartilage in my left ear and an industrial in my right, then my lip and belly button. im just going to skip the ear lobe lol, but the single cartilage hurt least, then i'd say the industrial and lip are pretty close, neither of them hurt that bad though, and then belly button. BUT the healing for the industrial was HELL :O it still gets sore a year later if i take it out for too long and but it back in.

Glad I'm not the only rider with lip piercings.

Just make sure it's fully healed before you put a retainer in it for when you show.

Plastic can hold germs and what not.

@eventerx33 lol. only thing i had touble with is when my horse swung his head and busted my lip it hurt like heck. :P, mine didnt swell at all. it was sore when ya put pressure on it but other than that nothing

@eventerx33 haha yea, hope it dont grow up quick, i use a little clear one when i ride and show, showing with a big silver or colored thing in your mouth isnt really what they look for.
