  • "I don't always play gypsy jazz, but when I do, I play it with a boom-chick-boom....stay thirsty my friends..."

  • Your chord shapes are two modernish, they don't sound gypsy at all

  • fantastic , I wish you lived near here .thanks for a very greatfull lesson on this subject .I love Django,s music and want to spend some time learning the theory involved in playing it and your lesson was excellent .just what I need at this time . thank you so much .

  • HELLO Sean Connery

  • Hi Michael, Thank-you for posting this great video on Django chords & rhythm! I finally learned a neat progression and first step in becoming a rhythm slave!...I could get hooked on this!!

    Your friend bouzouki George

  • Sorry but this definately IS NOT the rhythm of gypsyjazz at all ... listen to Joseph Reinhardt, Henri Crolla or Marcel Bianci or the modern players like Hono Winterstein, - THIS is the real thing

  • This is great! Thank you!

  • thank you for the lesson but the other guitar is very confusing, it would be good to hear only the rhythm i think, cheers though.

  • I am not sure with the right hand technique shown.

  • favourited, very good lesson. Whats the name of the DVD?

  • @professorlamp Michael Dunn - Django's Rythm.

Definetly this is not the perfect lesson, he's not having the required "nerve" like Django or many other gypsy jazz players.

  • bad-ass!!

  • wth are the chords!?!?!?!

  • Thank you very much!
