One of the top 3 most epic songs in recorded history. The other 2 happen to be Coheed songs as well. Can't express how happy I am to see this one played live. Let's just say my underwear is a little tighter. And a bit moist.
idk about u guys, but i think Travis is one of the most talented musicians i've ever heard rock a Lap Steel. whether or not Mic Todd's in the band, CO&CA will still always be one of the most underrated bands ever!
I've wondered something since the day I got Good Apollo- when he says "Digging you out" does he mean what I think he does? As in "Finally got a call from that girl I wanna dig out"? It's probably obvious but I've always found humor in the line in that it's so crass and out of place even for Claudio's lyrics.
@eifersucht14c I think he actually means it both ways XD It makes sense if you read the comics. I dunno if you do or not, but it makes sense both ways XD
I think it is amazingly funny that in all of these Neverender vids no one ever mentions the hot girls in the background, their too occupied with claudio, and fantasing about him then to notice just some boring hot chicks. Claudio FOREVER. CLAUDIO = MUSIC
@JTrouper94 Coheed and Cambria = Music* Claudio is fucken GODLY but without his band, hes just GODLY but now im rambling so imma stop before i go to far...
@ithr0craze1 i dont think thats entirely right, i think the rabbit is just a metaphor... this song is about the writing writer comminucating with claudio...
dude i laughed the first time i watched this video in the part where the chicks sang the part that goes "what is this shit u keep telling me, boy?" & so did Claudio. it's just fuckin awesome cuz i never hear girls talk like that.
5:58 - 6:23 listening to that part gives me chills, the singers and the keyboards getting the Oooh oooh part all synced up with Claudio and Trav destroying, this is why i live.
3:40 .....the only time ive thoroughly enjoyed what the backup singers do...sounds sooo bad ass with the harmony over the scream and then the rest of the line
I really wish the backing singers would piss off they annoy the hell outa me I saw coheed with them and without and I much prefered them without I just got the acctual coheed experience.
wow their performance on this song sucked ass, im about to cry, first, claudio screeched like 3 times and sounded like shit throughout, second, instead of him singing at some parts they just had the girls sing. WHAT THE HELL???? Claudio is suppose to sing "NO ONE RUNS FASTER THAN YOU CAN, NO ONE RUNS FASTER THAN YOOOUUU, NO ONE RUNS FASTER THAN YOOOOOUUUU EEEEAAAT"
so, i've read lots of comments on these neverender videos about claudio's voice... im a big dude, and a singer and i gotta say, he's doing a DAMN fine job! seriously guys, everybody pitch corrects in the studio now, and when you're singing this high, for this many songs, FOUR NIGHTS IN A ROW LOL! cut him a little slack, he's doing a fantastic job!
also, isn't it great to have a band like coheed in these troubling musical times?
so, i've read lots of comments on these neverender videos about claudio's voice... im a big dude, and a singer and i gotta say, he's doing a DAMN fine job! seriously guys, everybody pitch corrects in the studio now, and when you're singing this high, for this many songs, FOUR NIGHTS IN A ROW LOL! cut him a little slack, he's doing a fantastic job!

had an argument with a coheed-hating friend of mine the other day. My argument: if coheed came up, say around the same time as metallica (late 80s/early 90s), they wouldve been one of the most popular bands around. theyre musically and melodically on a whole other plane than metallica and people wouldve eaten up the whole scifi-esque backstory back then. high school wouldve been that much better if coheed was around. greatest band ever.
@ExecutionOfAllThings very true.. they are overshadowed by all the shit thats played on the radio now... the only good bands are the ones left from the 90's my personal favorites are pearl jam green day soundgarden and alice in chains
@Shabutie97 theyre actually damn good billie joe is one of the best song writers of this generation. and if ya didnt hear they're the ones who saved punk rock
@gmkilla27 They are liberal blowhards. The song writing would be decent if it was not so agenda-driven. The musicianship is pathetic. You cannot even argue that they are talented musicians.
I love Coheed and Green Day. The way I look at it, using only 3 chords to write an awesome song is like a painter only using a few colors of his pallet to create a masterpiece. Don't let these fucking music elitists put you down..
@GregIsLegend Greenday is not good at all... It is simple and the lyrics are so politics-driven. They are only "masterpieces" because they get gobbled up by scene teenagers...
@Shabutie97 they're music is not all political only american idiot album was and at that only 2 or 3 songs were. so before you start talking shit make sure you know wat your talking about dumb fuck
@gmkilla27 They are an awful, politically driven, no-talent band. They attract scene kids (You) and keep them with 3 chord songs and below-average vocals.
You can tell the whole album overall is difficult for him; not sure if its the pitch he has to reach or what, but it seems like his voice has matured past this, making it a bit difficult. Plus, the four nights in a row thing doesn't help. He still does one hell of a good job.
@jcrosslin10 While as a vocalist I know what he did with these Neverender shows was difficult, I still have to say that he did kinda blow the last two nights. I've seen 'Heed live multiple times, and each time his voice was flawless. The last two shows of Neverender are quite sub-par in comparison.
hate to break it to you pal. coheed's studio stuff is very pitch corrected. the drums will have been quantinized, etc etc. these are industry standards. doesn't mean these guys aren't insanely talented. these tools have just become industry standards. as for the live stuff, it doesn't seem to be auto tuned. HENCE THE POINT i was initially making. claudio is doing a damn fine job.
@ryno324 btw... the new foo record is supposed to be done COMPLETELY analog. if that's the case it would mean no d.a.w, no plug-ins, and therefor no auto-tune. i've heard the teaser and it is SICK.
Easily one of my favorite songs by them. Fell in love with it when I first heard Good Apollo especially the 'with the last breath of air as the earth comes trembling down' section just amazing amazing music.
I like the part where the "oh oh oh"s start, (the ones be4 the "RUN RABBIT RUN" part). The song has a lot of happy feeling at the beginning n then it gets darker, really good characteristics in the song
@kylejamescarr yes they are....and YES! COHEED AND CAMBRIA ARE THE GREATEST BAND EVER!! lol on my enthusiasm...im just in love with this band, great songs with great lyrics....COHEED AND CAMBRIA RULES! ( and so does claudio's hair)
This is my favorite song from the willing well series. But i do hav 2 agree, josh's drumming really made the songs sound different... in a really good way. Chris is good 2, but he doesn't deliver the same drumming experience that Josh did.
lawl, the guys in the Pitt dancing made me laugh. I can only imagine how hard it would be to start a mosh pit to this song. It's so upbeat, I lurvs it xD
claudio, josh was much better for the willing well drums, i'm sorry to say, chris just isn't good at these songs. He's ok, but josh was sooo much better. and take out the bongo drums. I dont mind them, but it is much better raw like that.
These songs you can tell are the most difficult and they struggled the most with, understandably. They are the most difficult ones they have, and barely play. so i'll give 'em a break. I love coheed forever, just not there best :/ <3 love always.
im a die hard fan. but i agree. as a percussionist myself, chris just didn't do all the cool shit in the third album that i hear from josh. the little details like the china crash in the "as father told son part" on 3 4 and 1 at the end of the phrase which MADE it for me in that whole section of this song. he just had no contrast and beat one cymbal the whole time thru. josh was the best drum writer i've heard since neil peart.
also there was alot of auxiliary percussion in the album. i like that stuff hahahaha. cuz on the album it wasn't just raw set. it was professional composition
i do agree with the above though, it was a shame to lose him but if the band didnt think chris would do a good job they wouldnt have picked him, and i trust the band
Claudio really needs to quit smoking. That shit is fucking up his voice.
I smoke cigarettes too, but I'm not a professional musician either. I love every song they've ever released even as Shabutie but he needs to work on that shit.
This is third night in a row of singing a shit ton of songs. You're voice would sound a little scratchy too. Go listen to the first night and you would hear him sound a lot better.
@anautumnprayer smoking is not what is causing his vocal problems durring neverender, he just got unlucky. He still smokes and sings fine, well not as good as he used to but. yeah...
This has been flagged as spam show

im a die hard fan. but i agree. as a percussionist myself, chris just didn't do all the cool shit in the third album that i hear from josh. the little details like the china crash in the "as father told son part" on 3 4 and 1 at the end of the phrase which MADE it for me in that whole section of this song. he just had no contrast and beat one cymbal the whole time thru. josh was the best drum writer i've heard since neil peart.

also there was alot of auxiliary percussion in the album. i like that stuff hahahaha. cuz on the album it wasn't just raw set. it was professional composition

but hes not better then neil lol
i do agree with the above though, it was a shame to lose him but if the band didnt think chris would do a good job they wouldnt have picked him, and i trust the band

I so wish I was at this show, especially for this song. The Willing Well 2 is so perfectly brilliant in every fucking way.

Claudio really needs to quit smoking. That shit is fucking up his voice.
I smoke cigarettes too, but I'm not a professional musician either. I love every song they've ever released even as Shabutie but he needs to work on that shit.
anautumnprayer 2 years ago 25
This is third night in a row of singing a shit ton of songs. You're voice would sound a little scratchy too. Go listen to the first night and you would hear him sound a lot better.
Shabutie554 2 years ago 5
i agree totally, he's been singing his heart out for two nights before, not just 3 or 4 minute songs but most of them being 6 or 7
bobmcneal 2 years ago 5
totally agree man his voice is such an integral part of the band, he's a huge jackass for smoking and ruining that beautiful voice of his
jlaw666 2 years ago 5
@jlaw666 let's not call claudio a jackass haha
i didn't know how smoked though :[

@anautumnprayer If Claudio can sing like he does WHILE smoking.... All the power to him! No one else could........
kylejamescarr 1 year ago
@anautumnprayer um, is it smoking? or is it that neverender was back to back nights of shows with insane vocals required?

@anautumnprayer smoking is not what is causing his vocal problems durring neverender, he just got unlucky. He still smokes and sings fine, well not as good as he used to but. yeah...
