My argument: if coheed came up, say around the same time as metallica (late 80s/early 90s), they wouldve been one of the most popular bands around. theyre musically and melodically on a whole other plane than metallica and people wouldve eaten up the whole scifi-esque backstory back then. high school wouldve been that much better if coheed was around. greatest band ever.

You can tell the whole album overall is difficult for him; not sure if its the pitch he has to reach or what, but it seems like his voice has matured past this, making it a bit difficult. Plus, the four nights in a row thing doesn't help. He still does one hell of a good job.

hate to break it to you pal. coheed's studio stuff is very pitch corrected. the drums will have been quantinized, etc etc. these are industry standards. doesn't mean these guys aren't insanely talented. these tools have just become industry standards. as for the live stuff, it doesn't seem to be auto tuned. HENCE THE POINT i was initially making. claudio is doing a damn fine job.
