This is the way to play this piece... there is no other way. (period) haha! but seriously what an original interpretation... Everyone seems to play it in such a mainstream manner which isn't bad but this was a nice interpretation... so unique and incandescent. I have a feeling this is how Chopin would've done it

Another testimony to the historical variance of playing before and after the perceived downbeat.Normally he plays way ahead of the beat,but here he prefers almost the whole time to lag way behind it,which lends it a sensation of playfulness in spite of some resistance.

Great clarity and supern rhythm. Luckily, speed was not a goal on its own, as occurs all the time nowadays.
