C'est l'un des vieux films qui m'ont touchés, j'attends la suite en espérant qu'il y en a une ( je me demande si la fille va pouvoir retrouver celui toujours avec une radio mdr ).

I loved André Téchiné's Les Roseaux Sauvages (The Wild Reeds). I especially loved the gay character François (a breakout role for talented & beautiful Gaël Morel, who was 21 or 22 at the time). It was sad that gay boy François loved straight boy Serge (Stéphane Rideau), while straight boy Serge loved straight girl Maite (Élodie Bouchez), and straight girl Maite loved gay boy François. It happens, especially in French films.

You're right, I love french cinema but sometimes I think that they aren't capable of telling gay love stories without some woman involved in the story.

André Téchiné was a master telling stories of young love, in the tradition of some of the best works of François Truffaut and Louis Malle.

I love Gaël Morel movies (specially Le Clan) and Stéphane (specially in Presque Rien)

@JJTheTrue I haven’t seen Gaël Morel’s Le Clan (3 Dancing Slaves), starring Stéphane Rideau. Thanks to your comment, I just watched Sébastien Lifshitz’s Presque Rien (Come Undone). I liked it, but it was frustrating not always knowing where a scene was or when. I didn’t even understand why Mathieu (Jérémie Elkaïm) & Cédric (Rideau) broke up. Perhaps they didn’t understand it either. At the end, it looked like Mathieu might be entering into a more mature relationship with Pierre (Nils Ohlund).

@alwaysuseless Being two good films IMO "Le Clan" it's a much better film than "Presque Rien" precisely because all that editing "de-construction" that Lifshitz use to love a little too much in his films. Nonetheless, it's a good movie.

And "Le Clan" (besides to be a much better script) has inside 4 gorgeous guys. The intense Nicolas Cazalé, Rideau, S. Kechouche and the utterly delicious Thomas Dumerchez. The saliva-tongue scene is in the lake cabin it's absolutely priceless!
