@beastfighter yeah i know they continued to manga, heck i think i saw somewhere were manga is in stage 6, and yeah i've seen the chinese one, pretty cool, the story follows somewhat the same line, little changes here n there but hey who cares, i'm gonna see the 1998 version, see how it is :) i'm up to the part where they beat the cheaters in saitama, the last dudes with the EVO 6, this series has become more influential than i thought man! INITIAL D FTW! i recently learned about car layouts

Anyway, you should watch the episode where Takumi saves Natsuki on that Snow Akina ride thing. It was Awesome. hehehe

You should watch the Initial D anime, It's the fastest way to knowing what we're talking about. The slow and more rewarding is actually reading about it in the Manga.

Fyi,

When Takumi decides to stalk his GF Natsuki...

In the Anime it shows Natsuki and "Papa" exiting a family restaurant,

In the Manga it shows Natsuki and "Papa" exiting a motel.

So I'm guessing you'll catch my drift.

Yes it was a Sil-eighty. A 180SX with an S13's Headlights is a Sileighty. Maybe that's what made you think it was an S13. ^^

Initial D is better than Maximum Tune, MT is overrated imo, just because where I live so many people think it's so much better than ID, "oh you can bump other cars, oh third person straightaways down a highway are better"...mountain racing is where it's at!
